Dana and Jenna have been fabulous! They both have a wonderful sense of style and know how to transform a room into a beautiful looking, and comfortable space. Both took the time to listen carefully to the needs of our family and worked on the design proposal. They were very happy to give ideas, take feedback and change spaces as necessary. Both were always reliable, on time and professional at all meetings. They have been willing to work at our pace, updating small spaces at a time around our home to fit with needs and budgets. Their room designs and chosen furnishings in my house have been highly complimented by my family and friends. I have great respect for their talent and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for styling guidance.
CID have now run over 4 projects for us, over the last 20 or so years. Why? Dana and her team are not cookie-cutter designers. Your home won’t look like a display home. It will be you, it will be unique, warm, edgy. The design and furnishings will be sublime. Dana works with your preferences, and within your budget. Inspiring you by giving you a vision. You are involved along the way, as much or as little as you want. She and her team are also excellent at large and small scale renovations, and new builds. Very effective and hands on project management. Keeping every trade, council approvals and many other moving parts running like clockwork.

The team at Concepts Interior Design (CID), lead by Dana and with her skilled team, have delivered for us a spectacular renovation to our apartment here in Kingston. The renovation exceeded our expectations and indeed lifted our ideas to a level we couldn't have imagined by ourselves. It was also Project Managed by Dana, who used a skilled and dedicated team of local tradespeople who combined to do a big renovation on time and essentially on budget, and with a dedicate dafter service to ensure we settled quickly.
We have lived in this apartment since it was new, and while we loved many things about the apartment (3 Bed, 2 Bath, big living area leading onto a deck) there were some things that just didn't work. Following a word-of-mouth recommendation about Dana's work, we engaged her and her team to design and then project manage our big renovation while I was posted interstate. We had been particularly drawn to the referral that Dana could draw on a skilled and dedicated team of tradespeople who would ensure top quality work under her careful and enthusiastic supervision.
We met with the CID team, and discussed our requirements and tried to describe our vision. They listened carefully and we explored ideas and from that moment they clearly indicated that they understood our intent - we wanted a modern and well appointed home that was beautiful but more importantly functional and reflected our eclectic style (a home not a show room). We were lead on a journey of ideas that we could never have dreamed up ourselves and we were ecstatic to see how they took our ideas and ran with them, keeping us fully engaged throughout, and presented us with a design that exceeded our wishes.
They then undertook to project manage the renovation for us, as we were both in busy jobs and living interstate - there is no way we could have done this renovation on the time and on budget like they did for us. The team of tradespeople have been fantastic, and they delivered quality work, on time and on budget, and have been closely engaged with us upon our return to ensure we are absolutely happy with the outcome.
We have recently moved home, and had family and friends around for gatherings that are now easier to host in the now significantly improved design. Everything we dreamed of has come to fruition and we are so incredibly happy with the product delivered by Dana, Isobel (who designed the incredible kitchen - we have a butlers' pantry in an apartment!) and Alyssa.
I cannot recommend Dana and her CID team highly enough.

From the very first conversation I felt that Dana understood exactly what I was trying to achieve with the farm-stay 1-bedroom cottage renovation.
Everyone on the Concepts Interior Design team was terrific to work with and their approach was collaborative which I loved.
Along the way Dana provided contacts for builders, glaziers and other experts who could help bring the project to life.
Overall I was delighted with the final design!

Had a great outcome from Dana and Jen at Concepts Interior Design. We had recently downsized to a contained high rise apartment and wanted a smart modern interior for our living space. Dana and Jen did a great job for us with paint, fabrics, lighting and furniture!! They were thoughtful, good listeners, great fun, and have great design skills. Loved their work and our lovely 'new' living space. Thanks again guys for a terrific outcome.
