I requested a fee proposal for some basic residential surveying work. Sydney Surveyors replied quickly, but instead of providing a fee proposal (or asking any relevant questions) they just sent a two lined email that was super rude. Kind of a weird way to operate a business tbh...

My husband and I recently completed extensive renovations to our property in Smithfield. We were going owner/builder for the first time so had no experience with this whole process. We chose Sydney Surveyors on a recommendation and we could not have been happier with Ian and the guys. They looked after us from the start of construction where they set out the location of the extension before the excavation could start and then came back when we were finished and did the final surveys required by the certifier for our Occupation Certificate. They knew exactly what we needed to have done which was so reassuring for us as most people know renovating can be a nightmare!.

Worst and arrogant surveyor. I engaged him to do a survey, tried to get in contact with him but never returned my call or response to my email. I was urgently trying to get my land surveyed but not having any response from him so I engage another surveyor and he did it within 3 days. When I went to lodge with LPI, they told me to get consent from Sydney Surveyors for the PPN number. I went to Sydney surveyor and they told me to first pay bill of more than $2,000. I was shocked to hear that they have held me for ransom. I have to pay them for work that I never used. I would never recommend Sydney Surveyor. they are cheaters of the system. Hopefully no other customer is cheated and ripped off and betrayed like this.
