Do not use this Company. Wish I could provide negative google stars. There sales Staff - especially Oscar & Sunny have very limited knowledge about Solar panels/invertors/ installations and they have just created this company to scam people and take deposits. They will sell you solar panels and invertors, that they don't have in stock, then tell you they will give you free upgrade....which actually could be inferior quality product. They provide you limited information about installation date and then call you one evening advising installers will attend next day. Some of their installers are not CEC certified and have incorrect certifications/information. They quoted us a price and then advised few months later after gaining "approvals" that they cannot install because our roof is steep. Fair enough, pls check prior to quoting and do not waste our/your time and collect our deposit and full amount pre-authorisation. Then, they do not refund your deposit and advise it takes 14-21 days to provide a refund. I would wonder why? If you can take deposit within minutes of providing quotation - Refund should be within days. If you ask to speak to Manager, they make their colleague a Manager and try to cover up for each other. Avoid Austra Solar at all costs.

Terrible experience, after installing the solar system 6.6kw and I already had 4kw solar system, I was still paying the same amount of electricity and the inverter kept flickering and the app would show unconsisted and inncorrect amount of electricity. It would make half of what the solar system should be making on a sunny day. I ringed so many times I lost count, and they just keep saying we will call you in 1hr and won’t and when you do call again after waiting, they ask the same question and this kept going for months and they even ignore your calls and doesn’t reply to emails. Before getting the solar and doing the contract, they were very hungry and kept calling and emailing asking that they offer the best solar and bragging but once they installed and snatched the money from me, now they won’t even answer calls for assistance. Their names are Robin and Sarah, worst experience ever!!!

Sarah was very very helpful, patient and knowledgeable when helping me get online with my solar. Kudos to her and she is a real asset to the team ??

Ruined my roof, cracked 15 tiles and just filled them with silicon completely ruined my roof I have leaks everywhere. Customer service is rubbish nobody wants to talk they just hang up the phone on you. No body should have do deal with this especially when your paying good money

Yes, they continually bombard me with disingenuous offers. Don’t trust them. If you desire solar, refer to Finn Peacock at Solar Quotes (google him). Do your research through his information. He’s ex-CSIRO and knows his stuff, including who the shysters are!
