Customer service named Talia was not helpful. Had a power outage and called altogether number while my monthly bill always come from altogether but she said couldn’t find me on the system she said. Was left on hold for 15 minutes but no result. Thought the afterhours number was there to provide support but left me without help and no power electricity. Such a shame.
Their response to my email was very quick, and very informative. I’ve always had excellent service from Altogether.

This company is threatening legal action because I won’t pay a bill from the previous tenant. Avoid if possible.

do you just bill whatever you want and expect everyone else to do the due diligence for you? I don't think that's even legal. I wasn't asked for documentation at my initial signup, and if it were that easy, I would have provided it. I even went to my real estate office in person to try and get it and was told they couldn't print it out for some reason. why? i don't know. According to Australian Consumer Law (ACL) in New South Wales, specifically under the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidelines, it is illegal to invoice consumers for goods or services that were not provided (refer to ACL Section 40). It is your responsibility to ensure accurate billing, not the consumer's job to prove they do not owe for services never rendered.

Having to be associated with Altogether has limited my flexibility to reduce my power cost, not to mention the company not passing on my cost of living rebate. That's theft!
Try and get solar power connected when your power is through this company and you will have no hope. Altogether needs to come up with the rest of society with renewable energy thinking. Not to mention I have a right of choice here in Australia to do so.

As somebody who has dealt with this company as a strata manager and a owner in an embedded network I highly recommend this company. They are extremely professional, prompt and easy to deal with.
