Carl the salesman explained everything that we needed to know, more than the other competitors had, price was nearly $800 cheaper than the competitor, Joseph the fitter showed up on time did a marvellous job very happy, great product looks great, would highly recommend, I was even given the date for fitting on the same day I was quoted?

I ordered blinds for my home from Apollo Blinds. I made the first payment when they came to provide a quote. The payment machine didn't work, and the representative took care of the payment later. The installation was scheduled for yesterday, Saturday. The product is OK, but on Friday, the way Ms. Angela contacted me to arrange the final payment was extremely frustrating. Angela lacks patience with customers and does not know how to communicate effectively, even though English is her native language. The way she harassed me was very stressful. If any future customer wishes to contact and proceed with the products offered by Apollo Blinds, please avoid dealing with Angela. Thank you.

I have still had unfinished outdoor alfresco blinds going on 2.5 years. The Melbourne operator seems to have gone out of business and the head office has done nothing to fix the issue. I have blinds that are too wide for the space and they aren't doing anything about fixing them! Ordered January 2022 April 2022 something was missing...waited 4 months for round two. Second time, blind heights were wrong, waited about till the new year in 2023 for the installer to come back. Round three, they installed the blinds in the picture that were too wide and cannot be closed. Franchisee kept saying that they were in a dispute with the supplier. I finally took this up with head office. One person thought the issue was resolved and so didn't bother to get back in contact with me. I took it back up with another person in head office and their suggestion was to contact my bank to get a refund!!!!! The issue with this is that I would actually like some blinds that fit and are completed. They haven't come back to me with any other legitimate solution, which is really stressful. If I get my money back, I still will be out of pocket, because I will then have to pay for the removal of the blinds that are there. This is utterly ludicrous. I am hoping that the head office starts looking at my issue seriously. This is soooooo disappointing. I have now also attached the previous review response from them from 11 months ago!!!! Still not fixed!!

Been a very frustrating process since we got our blinds. First a fault with one of blinds, which in itself was not a worry - only when the installer contractor came to view the fault that we were met with the rudest of behaviour in our own home. The contractor, using a lighter, burnt off the frayed edges then asked me ‘ what do you want to do ? ‘ in a way that suggested he’d just fixed the problem. He then asked ‘ are we speaking the same language? ‘ to which I felt highly insulted. This led to us writing to Apollo to insist this installer not come back to our home as one should not be insulted in their own home. Communication is extremely poor with Apollo. I have written multiple times to what I assume is their HQ email re our disappointment with Apollo, yet there is never any follow up. We had our blinds taken away for replacement and were told approx 2 weeks turnaround. It has now been over 6 weeks and there is no sense of urgency for this company to return our blinds as they keep blaming it on where we live and seem to put it all in the hands of the installer contractors who simply deem it too far and it must fit in with their delivery run. As I write this, we have been mucked around yet again as we had an agreed date and time last week, only to be called up 3 hours before to be told it was not going to happen - this ruined my who day as had arranged to get off work early by 2 hours, which forced me to use up 2 hours of leave. It’s like trying to get blood from a stone just to get our blinds back. Now we have an extremely limited window of this coming Friday between 2.30 and 3.30 which is on a day off and again ruins any chance I have of other plans. So, no I would not recommend Apollo to anyone after this experience. The price may be good but it’s worth going for a company that have the customer’s needs and satisfaction at the top of their agenda - Apollo does not.
