We used Smartstone for both kitchen and laundry. We love it! Easy to maintain and looks amazing. We picked veined for the kitchen (Concreto Avorio) which looks great in a small space and a perfect match for our light grey cabinets. For the laundry we used Santorini, small-grained and worked well with our turquoise blue tiles and black sink/tapware. Smartstone has the best quartz design options (veined, grained, or neither) - all of them natural-looking, classy and tasteful. They can match almost any design vision. Their showroom has big slabs on display and allows you to visualise how it will look in your home. Customer Service and showroom staff are always helpful. Thank you!
Very happy with Smartstone in my kitchen. We went with a mid range vein which allowed us to use the same vein throughout our kitchen. The kitchen is the centre of our home & we couldn’t be happier. Very happy with the quality & service.

The worst stone on the market.
It chips so easily it feels like I could just look at it and it will chip. Stay away.

What a terrible product. I paid over $20,000 for stone and I have chips everywhere. I am furious as smart stone will not take any responsibility.

If you're thinking about Smartstone, don't. What an inferior product, and terrible customer service.
I wrote them to let them to let them know about the ridiculous amount of chips on my less than a year old bench top, in my brand new pristine home, and got no response without pressure. I told them how the chips had happened, and to be clear they told me to accept that 99c plates from IKEA can damage my $15,000 stone and they would do nothing about it. I have always had stone in my homes and never experienced issues like this. At this point i think plastic can chip it, and SMARTSTONE won't even bother to take a real look at the problem.

DO NOT BUY SMART STONE! I purchased smartstone for my kitchen benchtops and it is a terrible product. It chipped within the first few weeks. The stone is extremely hard to keep clean! It stains very easily, even water marks stain the bench and is extremely difficult to wipe off. This stone has ruined my kitchen. its the worst choice I've made! Ceaserstone is by far much better!

Dream Doors kitchen replaced my kitchen bench tops using Smartstone and I’m very disappointed with the quality of the stone. Just weeks after installation, the edge of the stone has chipped and Dream Doors and Smart Stone have refused to fix it. They want $220 plus GST to repair a chip…
The edges of the bench are very sharp and not beveled. Dream Doors advised that the edges would be beveled (rounded), not sharp pointed edges, hence they are more prone to chipping. I’m sure Caesar Stone is much better quality than Smart Stone.
In any case, beware of Smart stone because the quality is not as good as Caesar Stone. And NO, it’s not the same product.

I have used Smartstone on the kitchen bench tops in a brand new build and am thoroughly disappointed with the product. We have been extremely careful with it and wiped stains using water and microfibre as instructed as soon as they are spilled but it is impossible to keep clean. Even water stains the bench top!! It is not fit for purpose in my opinion and our old Caesarstone bench tops in our last house we’re much better. This product has ruined our new kitchen.

I work with Smartstone on a day to day basis. Being an interior designer where Kitchen and Bathroom design is at the core of what I do I'm constantly selecting stone. I love the range at Smartstone, really beautiful natural looking marbles, great colours and tones and their neutrals are lovely too. I love the fact that they come in the jumbo slabs too, really effecient. My contact Kylie is so accomodating with sampling and givign advice. All of my clients have been happy with their stone from Smartstone and I'm always pleased with how the kitchens and bathrooms come out.

We have used Smartstone Nieve White throughout our property in Kurnell across a large kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We had the property rented out initially for 2 years and we have since been living here for 1 year and there is not a single mark I have not been able to remove. The stone has not chipped and has performed extremely well during this time. We cook a lot in our home and have young kids who regularly utilise the island. It’s super easy to clean with a general all purpose spray like spray+wipe after a big cook up or entertaining.

Be very careful with this product!! They say that the quartz surface is non-porous and designed to offer high performance with low maintenance….our experience has been quite the opposite. We recently installed the Milan Petra Grigio benchtops in our bathrooms and kitchen and have been very disappointed with the outcome. Wet containers left on the benchtop leave marks that don’t just wipe off and even worse, we have had permanent bleaching around the tap handles in our bathrooms. Smartstone maintain the this has been caused by bleach being left on the surface and refuse to accept any responsibility BUT we have never used bleach to clean the surfaces in the bathroom…..soapy water and metho only. Further, even if we had used bleach during cleaning, it would not be left to puddle on the surface and it would be wiped at the time that the bathroom is cleaned. So beware, the surface is not non-porous nor is it high performing and it appears that water and/or cleaning products can damage this surface. We had granite benchtops in our last house and in 15 years never had a problem. We were disappointed with Smartstone’s response to the defects and would never use this product ever again.
