These guys were legends. We went to them on a Friday afternoon after being recommended by a member of staff at bunnings who was telling us they can help with doing small and unusual jobs, so we gave them a shot to help install our rooftop tent (we have an awkward roof rack that the tent just couldn’t install on normally) to begin our travels.
They didn’t have time to fit us in but said they were happy to supply us the tools for us to do the job ourselves outside the shop which itself we were super grateful for, since being on the road we had no tools and no family / friends to help us out.
It was a niggly + frustrating job trying to twist on the bolts in the tight space under the roof rack and after noticing us struggling with it, one of the staff (Alan) and the boss (Pat) spent probably near 2 hours helping us getting it properly installed. They wouldn’t take any money or even a carton of beer for doing us the favour, they were just happy to help.
Would highly recommend them to anyone and if I ever need some real engineering work one day in the future I’ll be sure to go to them.
