Our Vehicle hit a pole left on the road in early December 2022 by workers on a section on the road DM Roads looks after, causing significant damage to our vehicle.
From there on, DM Roads Services has been anything but uncooperative, hindered the claim process, displayed unconscionable conduct, and refused to provide the information requested in 60 days!
DM Roads Services only replied, within approximately five (5) hours, with all the information I requested when invoices and penalties where issued, and threats of litigation made, some 60 days after the incident, and DIT being contacted.
After all of that they told us that it was a SA Power Network pole. Now getting us the reference number and an email address to pursue our claim to SAPN was another very challenging task to complete at the DM Roads Services office.
If you are in a similar situation with the business, WRITE to DIT to complain and SEND DM Roads Services an invoice to pay in 14 days + Penalties, and pass the invoice to a debt collector, and/or take them to the small claim tribunal.
They then reply very quickly!
I am just really unimpressed and disappointed with the business abysmal customer service.

This place is a absolute joke I have got a brand new truck and caravan there workers were dumping rocks on the road without spray working on a 110kms road without traffic signs there was only 1 sign to show loose rocks. Right in front of the workers a road train come pass doing the full 110kms and has done $20,000 worth of damage called the supervisor asked him who was responsible for the damage and he quoted (DM Roads are) asked me to get 3 quotes for the truck and 3 quotes for the caravan been near Xmas time I towed the caravan all over WA trying to get quotes. I got the quotes then got a phone call from the supervisor saying that they we're not responsible for the damage what a absolute joke!! I will not give up! I'm shore if the shoe was on the other foot they would be after me! Caravan and truck was only 5,000kms old
