Absolutely no accountability for their mistakes and extremely rude customer service. Jake. L was unhelpful and condescending in his tone when the mistake was on their part for not fully following up with proper correspondence regarding account set up. MyConnect was blaming Origin Energy and blaming us the customers for not doing something that MyConnect advertises on their website to do. Absolutely despicable behaviour and I will not be using their services again in the future.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!! THEY HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY. Their service is bullshit. When i first received their call, the guy on the phone was reading through a script and talking as if like he was in a rush to end the call. Here is the worst part, they connected me to the wrong water retailer for my area and I have done multiple attempts to correct the mistake. They tried to rectify it on their end but failed to as I still was not connected to water at my apartment after confirming with my water retailer that they have not received any of my details for a request to connect. I tried to contact them again, but this time they pushed the responsibility back to the water retailer. I went through 2 months of stress not being able to receive my water bill and not being able to know solve the issue myself. Whenever, I contacted them they would push the responsibility to everyone else apart from themselves. It would not have been so messy if they had set me up with the correct retailer in the first place.

First, they started calling my husband and me nonstop, even late at night around 8 p.m. They disturbed me and my husband at work. I told them we didn't need their service, but despite that, they persisted. In the end, I agreed, and they emailed me the scheduled date, so we arranged the move-in accordingly. On the scheduled date, we both spent the whole day calling them to get an update on the electricity, and the lady was very rude to us. We spent two days without electricity. In the end, they told us, "Sorry, we can't help you." Oh my God! It made us really angry. I don't understand why they run a company if they don't know the basics of running a business. Please don't trust them; first, they will convince you by talking in a really sweet tone, and when you agree, they will change their colors like a chameleon and start talking to you very badly and cut your phone off without listening to you proper. I wish I could give them zero rating.
