This was our second time having the Cabinet Doctors update our kitchen, and once again, we are extremely happy with the results. The new cupboards and drawers look fantastic, and we especially love the drawers that replaced the lower cupboards. A big thank you to Len for helping us choose the perfect shades of blue and grey.

We completed a full kitchen renovation with the Cabinet Doctor. We looked into various types of renovation companies and decided to go with Cabinet Doctor. We’re very happy with our decision as the work completed by the Cabinet Doctor was top notch. We’re also very happy with the process leading up to the completion of work as it was very easy dealing with Len and Donna and they helped us a lot through the whole decision making process. Finally, all of the contractors they work with (Cabinet installer, Tiler, Electrician, Plumber) were all very professional and did excellent work. Thank you to the Cabinet Doctor, highly recommend!

Met Len at The Cabinet Doctor booth at the home renovation show. After talking with him for 15 mins, I felt confident in going with them for my cabinets reno. They certainly didn’t disappoint. Len came to our house and took the time to find out our wants and needs and offered up some great design ideas. We absolutely loved the new pot drawers he had in mind. When he left, we had the quote in hand. Once we picked countertops, Donna helped us pick out handle colours, back splash, and grout colour. She did an amazing job working with 2 people who are on opposite ends of the design scheme. Zach, our installer, did an excellent job of the installation and made sure the existing cabinets were structurally sound. Shout out to all the people behind the scenes who put out a very high quality product. I wouldn’t hesitate to use The Cabinet Doctor again or any of their trades.

We did not need to change the footprint of our kitchen, so refacing of the cabinets, a quartz counter top and resurfaced hardwood floor was just what we needed for our kitchen. Friendly, helpful expert advice and high quality product with excellent workmanship was evident from the start, and we are completely proud of our "new" kitchen. We got three quotes for new cabinets in a nook just off of our kitchen - a smaller project. Len from The Cabinet Doctors came back with the best quote and was able to match the style and colour of the existing cabinets in the kitchen. Their installer - Darron - was very professional and did a great job installing them. He even cut down and placed the butcher-block counter we bought separately, creating a desk in this space. We couldn't be happier with the end product, and would definitely recommend The Cabinet Doctor and use them again. The new Cabinet Doctor cabinets are also of much higher quality than the ones the builder installed. Thank you!

The Cabinet Doctor performed a fabulous job on our kitchen and laundry room renovation project. Len spent time with us, in our home, discussing multiple ideas for the transformation of our 1988 kitchen design and functionality. While the Cabinet Doctor is capable of a complete custom redesign of a kitchen footprint (including any room requiring cabinet redesign or repurpose), they will also gladly work with a client to best utilize the existing footprint as was the case for our project. Len came to our home, well prepared, with pictures of previous projects, sample door styles and colours, and even measured and created a drawing and prepared the quote right on the spot. As we had decided to keep our newer glass backsplash, granite stone countertops, and tile flooring, Len designed a complete retrofit of our existing bottom cabinets in order to convert them into majority large, solid hickory dovetailed soft-close drawers for ease of access. He even designed a conversion of one cabinet into a pull-out garbage and recycling storage and a conversion of our existing kitchen broom closet into a stunning furniture grade pantry cabinet. Len also designed the complete removal of our kitchen and laundry room upper cabinets and replacement with tall ceiling height cabinets with crown molding. Although our kitchen has a standard 9 foot ceiling height, since we really wanted decorative display glass cabinets atop the new upper cabinets, Len designed the new upper cabinet doors with glass at the top so that we could achieve the same look without the necessity of a separate decorative cabinet. The result is an absolutely stunning illusion of extra ceiling height with a glamorous touch that has completely transformed our home. After listening to our preference of creating extra brightness within our kitchen, with the inclusion of some warm elements, Len also suggested that we consider a two tone look of which also coordinated very well with our existing stone countertops. As such, we chose bright white upper MDF solid cabinet doors for our new upper cabinets with dark charcoal stained solid maple doors and drawer fronts for our existing lower cabinets. We also refaced our drywall, surrounding our peninsula, with matching custom dark charcoal stained solid maple facing transforming the peninsula into a stunning island. After the efficient design process, Cody came to our home to confirm the measurements and drawings in preparation for the custom production of our new drawers, cabinets, doors, facings, and mouldings. After the custom manufacture of our materials, entirely right here in Alberta, Cody returned and completed the installation of our kitchen with efficiency, care, and attention to detail. The beautiful finishing work, extra storage space, and remarkably transformed functionality of our existing kitchen footprint is astounding. The Cabinet Doctor also has dedicated third parties that will perform the electrical, plumbing, flooring, backsplash, countertops and more for a project. We contracted their recommended electrician, Marco Carello of Westpro Electrical Services, of whom installed new LED pot lights, in-cabinet LED pot lights to enhance the glass portion of our upper cabinet doors, under cabinet lighting, pendant lights, and new high voltage wiring and circuit breaker for our new speed oven. Marco is very polite, punctual, accommodating, and a master at his trade. We have had numerous professional renovation projects performed on our home over the past 19 years, and The Cabinet Doctor is the only renovation company in Calgary that provided us with accommodating, respectful, pleasant, knowledgeable personnel, and a moderately priced, comprehensive, thorough, timely, and stress free renovation that not only left us completely satisfied that we received significant value, but even exceeding our expectations in every aspect. Highly recommend!

We love our new kitchen. It’s beautiful! The people at The Cabinet Doctor were so great to deal with. Donna in the showroom and Darron, the cabinet maker and installer , went out of their way to make sure we got what we wanted. The cabinets are perfect and we love the backsplash Donna selected to work with our new counter. If you like the layout of your existing kitchen, refacing is the way to go. Disruptions, mess, etc. were minimal and at a fraction of the costs of new cabinets. I would highly recommend The Cabinet Doctor to do this for you.
