I had a hot water installed 3 months ago. 2 weeks ago, I thought I smelled gas, so I called Atco to come out and check it. Turns out there was a leak and he says it likely has been leaking since the installation 3 months previous.

I repeatedly called Alberta Indoor Comfort to make them aware of the situation. Initially it was to inform them that their technicians should be better trained. Now after 3 unreturned phone calls, it is to have my money refunded.

I went with a company that I thought had the best reputation for customer service and professionalism so that I would be safe and it turned out that I was slowly being poisoned in my own home due to shoddy workmanship.

The least that they could do would be to call me back, but as of today, no returned phone call after 3 attempts on my end.

This is not a company that I would trust again.

Woke up to a cold home in January to a furnace that had run out of heat to give. With a prompt service call and a subsequent sales call I finished the afternoon with the comfort of knowing a new furnace would be installed on Monday. They had to finish the air conditioner installation in the spring which they just completed.

Everyone they sent to our home was polite and professional. Am very happy with Alberta Indoor Comfort and would recommend them to others.

Premium price, premium sales experience. Unfortunately comms after the sale was confirmed were less than premium and the installation was better than the lowest bidder junk I'm used to be but still not premium.

I'm not saying don't use them, but I definitely think you should get a few quotes and flip a coin. Installers were extremely friendly and wore shoe baggies but did not poly-wrap the shelves when cutting near electronics or move a small area rug. I'd rather my floor be dirty than my selves/counters. This feels more egregious as I contacted them early about moving furniture to accommodate the install. To their credit it is very early in the season and there were two trainees.

Explicitly no consideration provided when installing 'cosmetically' damaged goods. I would prefer a premium installer to provide near out of box quality products.

Until out concerns are taken care of I am changing my review. When they installed the AC there was a bad smell coming out everytime I turn on the heat. We called them they said turn the AC on it will go away. We'll we turned the AC on and guess what now the AC won't turn off, my heat wont turn on and its been 2 days of us trying to get them to come out and fix it and they want US to pay for their screw ups. STAY AWAY and find a reputable company to work with. My daughter got sick from the AC and we had to turn off the breakers so it would stop turning on.

Furnace and duct cleaning. The technician, Dare arrived on time and explained the full extent of the service and asked if I had any questions before he began. He covered and protected the floor before bringing in his equipment, promptly got to work and meticulously went through the house and completed the job. He showed me several before and after pictures and ensured I was satisfied with his work before he put everything back together. Then he ensured everything was working as it should be. He cleaned up and left us thoroughly impressed by the work he performed and the way he did it.

I Cannot Post This without putting a Star !!!!!!!???

Picture can Tell how can I move my washing Machine if something is sticking out as soon you Open the Gate. How can I sell the house in the Future. The Owner Carla was in my house, She said she doesn’t see anything wrong about it.
You the Judge , if they Really know What they are doing.

Before you Sign up to the thousands financing from Financiet, make sure this company explain What they will do 3 hole on the side of your house for the New Furnance, waterless tank, THEY DESTROYED MY HOUSE !!!!!
The inspector came they fail to do or Not Really know their knowledge of What they are Doing. I just saw 2 hours ago they fix what the city inspector said but when you open the side gate, You will see instantly a L big pipe sticking OUT on the side of the wall , just beside the side gate, it looks Awful since my house has No Gate and well expose to a busy walking area.
This is a Blockage when you are Moving in and out of the house. Still waiting for second Inspection. I am Very Very upset since 1 hour they Started the Job Office keep on Calling everyday for me to Release the $16,000 something loan but they Just Started the job. This is too much Stress that Friday , New Furnance , Suddenly we don’t have Heat. Kevin came took out the Wirings from the in and out airflow , I Just found out from city inspector, saying too much air in the basement, How Come They cannot explain or Don’t know that ????
Diego came, , he said they will Not do Anything about the WIRINGS that Kevin Took Out.
I said the City Inspector will come Tomorrow, Diego said the Inspector does Not even know about that because Most houses are Not built with the in and out airflow, so I just realize , Kevin told me to Open the house ventilation , for Air Circulation, but just realize the Wirings are Not Connected.
I thought he will finish the job plus my free humidifier but said No water line, need to wait if it will come tomorrow , nextweek, 2 weeks etc. I said inspector is coming tomorrow, then he went down to put the Waterline. One lie after another. To the Owner Please Hire Contractor that they Know their Job or What they are doing. You have family too. What if you Accidentally put the Furnance wrong and we have a Carbon Dioxide leak, I have 6 dayhome children and 5 members of the family living in our house. I believe in God but someone Needs to Wake you up !!!!!!!

In summary, my experience has convinced me that this company is both overpriced and incompetent. They provided me with a quote for duct cleaning and aerosealing that far exceeded their competitor's offer. Despite my decision to go with the competitor, Alberta Indoor persisted in calling me, attempting to persuade me to reconsider, and eventually offered to match their competitor's price. Their assurances that they would "do this right" and that their competitor wouldn't didn’t turn out to be true.
On the scheduled day, I kept waiting and they didn’t show up, finally citing an alleged accident as the reason. This caused me to lose a vacation day and miss a doctor's appointment. I remain skeptical about whether there actually was an accident.
After rescheduling, I initially considered not writing a one star review and letting it go, but what I found today convinced me that a one star review is justified. The photos clearly depict the damage they caused to my humidifier, which took 1.5 hours to clean and fix. Fortunately, I had a spare humidifier filter on hand as well as the filter was of no use anymore as you can see in the photo. I am now concerned about potential damage to my heat exchanger.
While there are other issues that could warrant this one-star review, I believe what I described above should suffice. I caution others against succumbing to their persuasive tactics, including boasting about their accreditation with the BBB, which I intend to investigate further.
You may get burnt if you hire this company, as I have unfortunately experienced first hand. Also, the persistent marketing text messages I receive from them are a frustrating reminder of the mess they have left me to deal with.
This was a horrible experience, and has already cost me way more than even their original quote for the work.
