Very disappointed in the quality of equipment and “customer satisfaction” provided from CDR. I rented a skid steer from them last week to do a mulching job. On the first day, a hydraulic line blew on the unit, I called asking to either repair the line or if I could swap the unit. They said they would like to do the repair and would be there first thing the in the morning. They brought out a new skid steer in the morning. I was able to continue mulching for another 3 hours before the 2nd skid steer began throwing engine codes due to a faulty after market fuel cap causing it to be unusable. After going back and forth I was refunded for a portion of the second days. But charged 2.5hrs of delivery at $185.00 an hour for them to replace the first unit, they did not advise me that I’d even be charged to replace the first unit with a second unit that was not useable. If you are looking for quality equipment and quality service, id recommend any other rental company.

As a playground installation company in the great Edmonton area, my crew and I have been using CDR Rentals for all of our equipment needs for quite a while. Rob and Stephanie and team are amazing to work with. So helpful and knowledgeable and they go out of their way to make my business needs their priority. As a small business owner relationships are so important. They have great equipment and so many attachments for a skid. I would never rent from anywhere else!

I rented a skid steer and mulcher from these guys in early July. I should have noticed some red flags when I picked it up and was not provided any pre-delivery report or photos. Subsequently, the machine threw a track on my jobsite, and they sent out their service truck for the repair. Their service manager Rob explicitly told me I was operating the machine as expected, and the job conditions were more than suitable for the equipment. Unfortunately when I returned it, they charged me ~$3,500 in "repairs" for a worn out track and a broken tooth. When I asked for the pre-delivery inspection report and photos, they sent pictures of a completely different unit. Then Rob accused me of "just not wanting to pay" even though I was fine with the $3500 weekly rental and even paying for the service call for the defective track. To top it off, their guy twisted the unit on the ramps when backing it off my trailer, destroying the outriggers and causing $4,000 in damages to the trailer. Rob invited my to sue them, knowing the costs involved would dwarf the close to $8,000 they cost me by their fraud and negligence. I'd stay away from them, and if you're desperate make sure you get a pre-rental inspection report or else you'll regret it.
