Best Top Roofing replaced my roof a little over 2 years ago. And they did a good job with the roof. Two years later, my skylights started leaking. After weeks of calling Best Top and begging them to take a look, they finally came and immediately said "oh your skylights should have been replaced when we replaced your roof, but we don't do skylights". Wait, what? You knew the skylights should have been replaced and didn't advise me out of fear of losing the job? Had you been upfront I would have given you the job anyway and brought in someone to do the skylights. Now, I have to do the skylights as well as repair the ceiling and hardwood flooring from the leaks. I can't fault you for the leaking skylights. But I can fault you for not advising me appropriately. It's unprofessional and bordering on unethical.

Here is my review of these guys. I left details on their website and got an estimate right away within a week. The quotes from 3 were all pretty consistent as my roof was nothing special, but I really like the automated software they use for quotations. Then as I was comparing quotes I got a gentle reminder that they are ready to go anytime. Unfortunately, I was not ready as I was dealing with insurance for hail damage. Two months later the insurance finally green lit the replacement and I called them right away to see if I could get my roof done. The fellow who called me told me that they would get it done as soon as he could squeeze me in. I figured maybe 4 - 5 weeks. 5 days later, they showed and and it was like a whirlwind, these guys don't mess around. Bin in, old roof out, new roof in, bin out. They were delayed a few days due to the heat wave we received. I walked around afterwards and there were a few bits of paper left to pick up but no big deal, really great job with clean up as I was worried about nails. Definitely recommend these guys. My neighbor even commented on how fast they were and how great it looked. Good job guys. I especially like the software they use for quotes and billing, it was transparent and clear.

Hi Harry, just wanted to thank you and your crew for a job well done! My mother and father in law are very happy with the quality and how fast the shingles and gutters were replaced. You even added an extra gutter line for better drainage because you noticed the condition of our front step (Thanks for the Pre-Cast Step contact by the way you saved us $1,000.00) and replaced our rotten furnace stack at a very fair price. You are a professional with a very calm demeanour and we’re a pleasure to work with. This was a large repair for our parents and they were very nervous and you made the project easy. During our most recent windstorm, my roof was damaged as the shingles were lifting and I wasn't sure the extent of the damage. I called them and the same day, I had someone at my home to complete the roof inspection. They assessed the damage and took pictures for me before completing the work. Prices were extremely reasonable and they took all forms of payments, which I appreciated. Everything was done electronically, which I also appreciated - the pictures of the damages and the repairs were sent to my cell phone and the invoice was sent to my email. The owner, Harry communicated with me throughout the day as well to let me know when the roofers would be arriving and when they were done the work. You also get 5 years warranty on workmanship. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

My call was returned within 3 minutes of leaving it by Harry. He told me Ian would call for more info which he promptly did. We spoke and Ian gave me the information I needed to proceed with my low slope mobile home roof as many companies do not do low slope. He offered advise as to who I needed to call for my renovation as I needed the roof redone not just shingles. I had other roofers give me some estimates but for just roof at $6-10,000.00. He was friendly and very knowledgeable, definitely knew his stuff. This is a company I would definitely recommend for your roofing needs. Prompt and professional service Thank you Ian and Harry.
