Had all windows (12; 6 up, 6 down) and the patio door replaced this year with Canadian Choice. The sales team came in strong with a promise of perfection, but little in the way of note taking. Prices were right in the average, high on some things lower on others, Canadian choice was my 3rd quote for the job, but the only one willing to deliver before winter.

Once the installation was complete and I was granted a chance to take in the beauty of my windows, I started to notice several places of damage. That without photos prior are being contested by my salesman as not having to do with the install. Also noting that, as per the lack of notes, that my previously frosted bathroom window now is crystal clear right into my neighbors Kitchen/dining room. Imagine their surprise when my daughter first walked out of the shower. I can assure you she was less than impressed.

Overall, they did come in on a promised price, the windows are absolutely worth every penny, and the difference in the house was instantly noticeable. They did complete the job slightly later than initially quoted, but only by 2 weeks, and still before winter started. Also with 3 days quoted in the install and only 2.5 install and cleaned MOST of the property.

I am still missing some items, like the right glass for my bathroom, which is being replaced, but its been a month, and I'm hearing 2-3 more weeks. They have been paid, contract financing, so it seems the hustle is gone. Also for said bathroom window I never did receive trim or a screen, so those are also somehow taking an additional 2-3 weeks still.

For the windows, would absolutely make the same decision again. As for the installation company... as from what I can tell they still plan to do nothing with any damages, and that replacement window is only a promise and not tangible... That's a harder decision to stand behind.

We are now 1 month past installation, and I have received an email from the company about my issues. They do wish to let me know that as of a week after my install, they logged a work order for my bathroom screen, replacement window (bathroom frosting), and the trim for my bathroom window. Not sure what they had against this window in particular... Oh and they will "Adjust the cracks that were made while installing the windows."..

No additional mention of the French doors, and for what I've paid, they should be right!

We are now 32 Days past expected Shipping, and i have not received confirmation that my Windows are ready to be completed, or that they have indeed even shipped.

Bathroom window has been complete finally, and the damages patched but unpainted. The french door is promised to be corrected so that it's actually symmetrical. Not sure how long this will be, but it seems likely to be completed. Not a dime of discounting for all the mistakes or damages though, clearly its just part of doing business. Now to go buy paint to repaint my house, not that that was on the plans at all, just did it 2 years ago.

French Doors are now properly symmetrical as of today. Finally able to full close the door on installation of 12 windows and 1 double door. Contract signed Aug 11 2023, commencement of installation Nov 16 2023, completion of work as paid for Apr 24 2024. $27,000+, 8+ months to complete the work from the time of signing, with 3 massively intrusive visits to my home. Disrupting my working hours, pets being let out and running, and being accused of being the unreasonable one by the company I paid to do the 1 job they specialize in. My review stands, 0 for the company, and 5 for the glass!

Although, there was an attempt to purchase a better online rating with the offer of a gift card to compensate me for the numerous mess ups and disruptions. Yea right! Clearly they are unaware it is a crime to attempt to purchase higher online reviews in Canada.

Such a big job completed. We chose Draftlock windows what a lovely choice we made. Solid, well built and a couple of options of how to have them open. And the insides of the frames are well insulated, the glass is 3 pane. I enjoy the fact my husband won't have to get up on ladders to clean the outside of windows anymore!! We are already feeling the benefits of these windows. It's been in the mid 30's, hot hot hot out and downstairs here it was a wonderful 21, and consistent throughout each of these hot days. Looking forward to how they will preform during the freezing cold months of winter ahead. We had some concerns with how the install might go, we have a lot of tile in our home. A very very large window in our living room, stucco and brick outside as well as one lower window had been concreted in!!.... Sasha and Dima were amazing. The care and expertise from start to finish, attention to detail was 10/10.They insulated with foam, twice around each window on the inside and a nice heavy application of sealant around each window on the outside. They worked extremely hard and well together. Sasha and Dima cleaned up as they went along. You hardly new they were here! Hats off to you both it was a real pleasure, not one crack or chip of a tile and all is perfect. Thank you Canadian Choice for a great product and an expert team!!! I'll post some pic, we did do 15 windows, also I'm not a professional photographer as you'll see. But just so you get an idea.

We had been in need of new windows for quite a few years and finally decided to bite the bullet. Canadian Choice was the company we decided on as their cost was comparable with the other quotes and it just seemed like a good company. Although the quoted timeframe was 6 to 8 weeks the windows arrived within 4, a very pleasant surprise. We were also trying to coordinate getting the house painted at the same time, turns out the house was painted on Thursday with the windows installed on the Friday. The installers showed up right on time and took less than 5 hours to complete the four windows. They were very competent as well as personable. They were very conscious of cleaning up after themselves, including vacuuming all areas they worked in or travelled. On final inspection I noted that there was not one disturbance to the new outside paint and everything exceedingly well done. The inside was similar and looked exactly as described by the salesperson.
All together it was a very pleasant experience.
