I purchased my gate openers 8 years ago, the service was excellent. Fast forward to today and I had a problem with my gate opener, I contacted Felicia at West Coast Gates and she helped me diagnose the problem over the phone. Now thats great service! I recommend West Coast Gates to anyone wanting gates or power openers. Well Done.

I had my driveway gate replaced by West Coast Gates. The office staff were wonderful and so helpful in advising me on the gate that best suited my budget. The installers, Brian and Joe, installed the gate and attached the existing automation in less that two hours and were a pleasure to deal with. I've had people walking by stopping to ask where I purchased the gate because it has made such a difference to the appearance of the property.

I recently had an electric gate installed by West Coast Custom Gates and unfortunately, I am extremely dissatisfied with their service. The installer had assured me that the gate would be compatible with direct current and solar. However, the gate has stopped functioning, and when I contacted the company, I was advised to disconnect the solar. To make matters worse, I was informed that any repair or inspection would be charged to me and would not be covered under warranty. I find it unacceptable that the company is not willing to take responsibility for the issue with the gate and instead is blaming me for the problem. All they could tell me was to read their website if I was unhappy. I feel that West Coast Custom Gates is neglecting their responsibility to provide a functional product and adequate customer service. It is not fair that I am left to deal with this problem on my own, and the company is not willing to send a serviceman to inspect and repair the gate. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to others for their services. If my issue remains unresolved, I may consider filing a formal complaint with the company or seeking assistance from a consumer protection agency. In conclusion, I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by West Coast Custom Gates and hope that others are not put in the same situation as me.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! We got the gate, but, no instructions, no pre-drilled holes in the posts or gate and no hardware to install it. We called about it and were assured that the hardware was on the way.....1 week later, still no hardware. Called AGAIN and were told that now the hardware would definitely be sent via courier. ANOTHER week later STILL NO HARDWARE. Called AGAIN, and received an email that someone would be contacting us for details?????? Waited another day and Finally got a call. They are now ready to ship the hardware! DONT BOTHER!!! I would encourage this company not to do online sales. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at this company. Poor customer service. There's WAY better companies to deal with that offer much better service.

After years of good use, our solar gate system had stopped working for some reason, and through Lift Master online we found that West Coast Gates was an authorized local shop. We gave them a call to share our details and check out options, and we were some how able to arrange a service call for the very next morning! The technician arrived to assess the situation first hand, and was able to diagnose what we needed. All work was discussed prior to completion, and we were all fixed up before we knew it. Overall, we are still very happy with our Lift Master system, but we have added peace of mind for any future challenges after receiving such prompt and professional service from West Coast Gates.
