Alpine Insulation provided a great service: on time, on budget, and clean. We ask Alpine to upgrade the roof insulation in our attic. This was the best money I spent in years. Immediately the house feels warmer, as if someone put a warm blanket over our house.
I found that Alpine seemed to be trying but were not as smooth or effective as they could have been. Scheduling was difficult--I would get the day, but not the time, for example (3 different jobs). During the follow up home energy audit, the home energy advisor told me that the basement insulation was not installed properly and the invoice was not correctly done. Alpine did come back for the basement, but the issue was not fixed in all spots that I had mentioned, and I was sent an invoice with incorrect information. Generally, several phone calls and emails to explain, and several emails and phone calls schedule to address each issue.

The crew showed up early which was great for us They were very professional and courteous and proceeded to work right away. They cleaned up after themselves and let us know that their foreman would send us the invoice and we could then get the application for the grant in the works. They took pictures of the work to show us the results , again great job and crew.

I have used Alpine insulation on many occasions over the past 30 plus years. They are always complete professionals who go the extra mile and out of their way to satisfy you.
Their quality of work is by far the best in the industry. They are honest, fair and consummate professionals who make sure you are completely satisfied. They are always on time and on budget.
Everyone I have dealt with is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. If your looking for the absolute best possible job done to the gold standard of the industry, look no further. They are without a doubt, the best. I give my highest recommendation to Alpine insulation.

I would recommend caution when dealing with Alpine, as I had a rough experience with them.
We have a semi-finished attic in a heritage building and had requested spray foam insulation in between the attic beams while ensuring the lower part of beam and the brick against the wall was preserved.
We gave clear instructions and were assured that they were accurate and this wouldn't be an issue. However, after the first day it was apparent that they completely over-sprayed (see photos) and had not bothered to tape off or protect the beams or wall. The site supervisor acknowledged their mistake and assured they would clean up the overspray. After day 2, while better, there was still significant overspray and no effort to clean up any of the areas they had previously impacted. I was not able to inspect with the supervisor during as the spray foam is toxic and we had to vacate the premises while they were working.
I contacted the company and was assured they would come back to remedy after the remaining work (drywall, etc.) was completed. In good faith I provided payment and was then ghosted by Alpine for several months before giving up. The overspray resulted in significant additional hours put in by both myself and the other contractors in order to remedy. The heritage beams had to be sanded down, and the brick needed to be scraped by hand (and is still not 100%}. All of this could have been avoided.
As an aside, the reason the job took two days was because their equipment broke down. We were not informed they would be returning to the site at any point until repeated phone calls early the next morning. As we needed to vacate ourselves and our family pet during the process it was both a huge hassle and also very weird that they did not bother to communicate with us the day prior.
Overall a very justified 1/5. Be warned.
EDIT: Since I can't respond to the comment left by Alpine I'll clarity that the estimator was, in fact, aware that we were boarding in-between the joists and not over them. This was reiterated to the spray lead on the second day once a visual inspection took place, and they apologized.
In response to being asleep when work crews showed up, as mentioned above we were not notified before that morning that the work had not been completed and as the room was completely sealed off (due to off-gassing) we had no way of knowing. The fact that the company didn't bother to call us the day prior when work shut down was their responsibility.
I hope you read the comment below from Alpine and understand this company will take no responsibility for their work should you hire them.

Had a good experience with Alpine insulation topping up the insulation in my attic. They gave me a good price and the work was completed quickly. They even let me know about a government grant I didn't realize I was eligible for.

We are so impressed with Alpine!
Honestly, the only Company we would ever recommend.
The level of careful service was amazing!
We needed all new R40
Attic Insulation after our tile roof failed during a nasty Storm,
and because of our excellent previous service with Alpine, they were our first call. Our Attic is a difficult space with several roof pitches, on our 5-level split Home.
No problem for Alpine!
Our Attic is now stuffed, and we're happy and warm again.
From our 1st phone call, to John the Estimator coming out and getting up in there, taking Pictures, to the Two young but careful and polite, experienced Workers who did this complicated Job, everyone went above and beyond, on this work.
"They say", ' you get what you pay for',as the saying goes.
Well, other Companies may be cheaper, but Alpine is a Local group of Companies.
Their Insulation Company takes pride in their work.
We had our Grandchildren here while this Job was being performed, and you wouldn't even know they were here.
These two workers went about their business quietly, with no disturbance or intrusion to us.
A fair sized Job for an Attic protecting 5200 sq.ft. of living space, done in one day!
They came back this Morning and carefully vacuumed everywhere, and that was appreciated too.
We are happy to praise them.
