We hired Wellington Windows & Doors originally back in late 22' to replace all windows and doors. Long and short it was a complete disaster and their windows are absolute garbage. The only real solution unfortunately was complete replacement of the windows. West Windows was referred to us by a family member and our only regret after our experience with them was not knowing and using them in the first place! The entire experience was so beyond professional words cannot express our satisfaction with every inch of the process. The sale was smooth, easy, and the install was just top shelf! These guys are the benchmark when it comes to this trade. Do yourself a favour and just STOP looking elsewhere. If you are reading this review you have found your window and door shop! The Strassburger product quality is likely the best there is out there, and the installation attention to details even satisfies the likes of an over the top OCD freak like me! We will most definitely be recommending these guys at every turn and will use them exclusively for any window/door projects down the road. Congrats and much thanks for a platinum experience, stellar job and salvation from our first horrible encounter. Excelsior!
I was holding off a bit on posting a review, but feel I can now. I have no hesitation in recommending West Windows if you need any work done on your windows or doors.
We had almost all of the windows in our townhouse replaced as they all had broken their seals and one was leaking a lot of water when rain was driving against the house. Their sales rep (Ralph) dealt straight with us, and impressed us with his guidance on how to maximize the value we got out of energy efficiency rebates. Their price came out a bit over the other quote we had at the time, but we were impressed by their willingness to back their work up with a solid warranty and the fact that they did not sub contract the installations, which can always turn things into a game of pass-the-buck if things go wrong.
It took a few months from the initial quote to installation day, but when it came around they replaced 5 windows(2 of which were large, multi module windows) in 2 days. Their workmanship looked very good, the only thing they could have done more would be to wipe down the windows/trim, but they were instructed to leave the labels on them due to the need for an inspection to get the rebates, so that may have played a part. A super minor thing either way.
The reason I decided to post at this time was because we discovered a crack in the frame of one of our sliders, and so we called them up about a repair (which would fall within the timeframe of their "iron clad" warranty). Ralph came back the next day and spent literally 2 minutes taking a look and some pictures and said, "We'll contact you about your replacement." No trying to weasel out, no questions asked, just like the warranty said. I'm still waiting on that replacement, but I have no doubt it will happen and that they will make things right.
We have all dealt with plenty of organizations that talk a big game about customer service and warrantees, West Windows also walks the walk.

West Windows and Doors replaced an old door and window with a new 8’ door and window back in 2018. The entire process, from sale to the installation was great. The installation team was professional and beyond friendly.
Unfortunately, approximately 3 years after the installation, I began having multiple issues with my lock, the weather seal and door as a whole. This is where Chris and his team at West Windows and Doors really stepped up. We had multiple visits from the service team, and in each case, they were extremely quick to respond, even within a couple of hours when our lock was not working. The service team was always very courteous and extremely knowledgeable.
During their visits, the team had replaced the lock, the weather stripping, and eventually the door itself when they realized that the door was bowed ever so slightly.
Sadly, our issues did not stop there, when the replacement door arrived it was once again bowed, directly from the supplier. At this point it would have been really easy for them to pass this off as something that is normal, but this is where West Windows and Doors set themselves apart from many other companies. Their installers identified the issue and said it would only be a matter of time before we’d start to have problems with the replacement door. Chris didn’t drop it, he initiated the next steps.
Despite the installation having taken place nearly 5 years prior at that point, Chris mentioned to me that they had since changed suppliers and that they will be replacing the entire door and windows with ones from their new supplier. That new door arrived a few weeks ago and was installed. The difference in the way the new door opens, closes and locks was immediately noticeable.
While it was disappointing to have had those issues in the first place, I understand that things can happen. The important part is having a company that you can trust to do the right thing for their customers, and West Windows and Doors did just that. They addressed their product issue with a new supplier, and they took the necessary action to correct the issues and ensure their customer was happy.
Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris and the team at West Windows and Doors. If you’re looking for a company you can trust with your investment, this is the one.

I highly recommend West Windows. The whole process was impressive. Bruce explained everything so well. He is considerate, professional and a pleasure to work with. Chris came out to measure and he is very knowledgeable. I appreciate their advice on everything. The installers were awesome and did an excellent job. They always showed up on time and were easy to deal with. This team was efficient and meticulous. Outstanding customer service and quality of work !!

I'm thrilled with West Windows and Doors installation of my front storm door and repair and installation of the locks on my main door. The whole process, from buying the door to its installation was flawless and accountable. Mr. West, the owner , was very helpful and Jeff, the installer was creative and very professional . It was a joy to work with and buy from this company. Their products are excellent and well priced. Thank you West Windows and Doors. Im very happy now with the added security and air flow through my house.

We had our whole home completed today with triple pane windows.
They arranged the energy audit, installed the windows so incredibly well.
They even re-installed our shutters without any issue.

Originally, we had concerns about upgrading over 20 windows for our late 1800’s stone house. We were hoping the windows would be consistent with our country home. We were pleasantly surprised with how well they matched the era of our home.
We were impressed with the organization of the initial process, pricing, explanation, and preparation. It is clear that they have had a lot of experience and have a good communication with their customers. We enjoyed that they were on time, worked hard, were able to communicate, a positive team, and enjoyable company.
We are very grateful that they did an excellent job.

West Windows previously replaced our front entrance door and we were very pleased with the quality and workmanship. We therefore decided to use them again for replacing our windows as well as patio door and they did not disappoint. Alex, Jeff and the entire crew were always on time, professional, delivered high quality work and ensured the work area was clean after the work was completed. Our experience with West Windows on the two occassions we've used them has been pleasant and we highly recommend them.

I absolutely LOVE my new front door! Bruce took the time to consider what I wanted in a door and made many recommendations that I would not have thought of on my own. The results came out perfect! He was attentive, informative and a true professional. The installers showed up on time and did an impeccable job. They showed excellent attention to detail to ensure the job was done correctly and efficiently. I would without question recommend West Windows and Bruce for not only beautifying your home, but for the quality of their products, their knowledge and craftsmanship.
