Adam recently built and installed the cabinets for our kitchen. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful. The finish and color are exactly what I wanted. The quality of the cabinets is amazing. Adam was a pleasure to work with as well. We required some changes to a cabinet that was designed to hide our heat pump when not in use and Adam had no problem going with the flow on this. We also made a few changes to the dimensions of our island in order to accommodate a speed oven and Adam was so easy to work with anytime something needed to be adjusted. Everything from the drawing of the design to the installation of the cabinets, to the finishing touches....we were happy to be working with Adam. Adam also kept everything neat and clean during and after the installation of the cabinets. After the kitchen was complete we decided on adding an under the counter garbage can. Adam was quick to order and install it. Working with Adam was a pleasure!

We have worked with Adam many times over the past 15 years - for custom furniture, cabinetry in four rooms as we renovated our century home, and more. We've worked on the design directly with Adam for some projects, and for others he built what another designer had specified. The process and the results have always been excellent. He is meticulous, patient, responsive, customer focused and a wonderful craftsman. He has sourced new environmentally friendly finishes for us, often requiring a lot of trial and error to ensure they will work well. His cabinetry is the focal point in many of our rooms and we have had so many unsolicited compliments over the years. Can't say enough about him, and can't imagine working with anyone else.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Adam! Adam recently completed gorgeous built-in cabinets and a new fireplace surround. Right from the get-go, Adam was extremely responsive and professional – he took my vision and of what we wanted and brought it to life with professional quality drawings and samples. I was really able to see what the end product would look like. Throughout the process, Adam was in touch with us to get feedback on colours/stain/finishes, etc. He kept us in the loop on the progress and when we could anticipate the project completion. On the day of installation, it became clear to me what a quality and custom piece we were receiving. They trimmed the cabinet in place so that it fit perfectly. It was evident that Adam is a meticulous craftsman who cares deeply about his work. The piece came out better than I could have imagined and we are extremely pleased with the result. We will absolutely be using Adam and Upper Canada Furniture again. I recommend Adam and Upper Canada Furniture 100%!

I am beyond pleased with the custom cabinetry Adam build, and he made my vision a reality with the pieces turning out better than I imagined! Adam was the only person I contacted that met with me at my house to understand what I was looking for. It was a complex project and he provided professional CAD drawings so I could visualize the pieces and make changes before he provided me with a quote. His quote was extremely reasonable given he uses only wood products, and not MDF like other boutique cabinet firms do. He kept me informed throughout the process and really listened to what I was looking for. I would recommend Upper Canada Furniture to anyone looking for high end, good quality, custom build-in cabinetry and I am really looking forward to working with Adam on many more projects in my house. I am excited to now have two custom corner TV Unit's made by Adam at Upper Canada for the past 6 years. I was determined to have a custom unit I found on a "Houzz search" and I got just that! Adam took my vision and brought it to life! Excellent customer service and his product quality and craftsmanship has held up very well over the years (young kids and all)! I like to come up with lots of design ideas but narrowing them down and feasibility are not my strengths. Adam is able to work with my ideas, offer additional options and draw them to scale. We contacted Upper Canada Furniture for a quote on a new kitchen . We enjoyed working with Adam, from the moment he entered the kitchen space he listened to everything I wanted in a new kitchen. He gave me confidence that he would be able to build it exactly as I pictured it. What was so amazing was that Adam is a Master Cabinet Maker so we didn't just get a kitchen, he made cabinets that were finished like furniture, he made crown moulding, he made a beautiful sink cabinet that was finished with a space underneath, he made cabinets fit to size in our odd shaped kitchen in our house built in 1875. From inception to drawings to installation to finish, we found Adam Friese to be professional, ready to answer all questions we had and the kitchen was completed exactly on the date he promised. We had such a great experience we immediately asked him to build a custom kitchen table and a custom rounded bathroom vanity. Both are amazing, each with a stained finish that is uniquely ours. I would not hesitate to recommend Adam Friese from Upper Canada Furniture.
