Peters workmanship shows the many years of experience he brought to the work we needed done. He transformed our ceilings from plastered and painted swirls to a modern clean flat look through skim coating. He displayed a perfectionist attitude to his work and happily shared tips and tricks to his trade. His price was great, communicated every step of the way and was meticulous about keeping the work area clean and tidy. All in all, a fantastic job! He also weathered the constant questions I would throw at him about the work. Thanks for putting up with me Peter!

Peter came quickly and promptly for a quote on drywall for our basement renovation (conversation from duplex back to single family) and was able to schedule us in a month later (you typically don’t want the guy that will take you right away). When he started, he was able to fix issues from the last time the basement was finished, came up with creative solutions to some other challenges and completed the work within the two weeks he had originally quotes. At the end of the job everything was ready for me to prime with primer paint and finish sand.
Each morning Peter greeted me, was curious about our family and genuinely excited for the use of the space by our family once the project is finished. We had our daily chat about local and global events and despite making him fresh ground coffee, he preferred his Tim Horton’s.
Peter is very attentive to detail (which was one of the deciding factors in choosing to hire him), his price was very competitive with other quotes we got. I would not hesitate to recommend Peter. He has got us another step closer to a space that will be well loved and used by our family.

Peter is more than a drywaller. He is a craftsman and an "artiste". His skills go beyond mere drywalling and enter into the realm of artistry. He is second to none. He has an "old world" attitude to the execution of his craft: "good enough is not good enough, it must approach perfection".

I called Custom Drywall due to a water damaged ceiling section in our condo. Peter was quick to respond as well as meet on site to go over the repair method and price. Peter scheduled a day and time and completed the repairs as planned. Excellent workmanship priced within reason. I would not hesitate to use Peter again and will recommend his service to any who may ask.

We had Peter hang and finish the drywall for our basement renovation. Peter has great attention to detail and he spent a lot of time during the hanging process to make sure everything was going to be perfect when it came to mudding and taping. He was always there when he said he was going to be and he was finished when he said he would be.
He also made sure that we knew the best way to prime and paint to get the results we were after. During the painting process we were able to get a good look at the work he'd done and it was excellent.

Peter was incredibly responsive, kind, detail oriented and reasonably priced.
We have been finishing our basement and we needed someone to mud and tape the drywall that we put up ourselves (for the walls and the ceilings). We knew a professional job would make a huge difference and we were right. Peter did a phenomenal job (!!). It looks amazing. It's even more impressive given that he was working with our DIY drywall work. He managed to fix every beginner mistake we made, and we learned a lot from the advice he gave.
He also fixed up our kitchen drywall (from some other DIY work) and some drywall next to a vent. It all looks amazing, and he did a great job cleaning everything up after.
We had an excellent experience working with Peter and we would hire him again in a minute. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for help with their drywall!

We found Peter to be exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled. He cares deeply about his craft and has incredible attention detail. Peter drywalled our entire basement including California ceilings and stairwell. He is a true craftsman. He takes pride in his work and it shows. We are very happy! He charged a fair price, had great communication, was super tidy and delivered exceptional quality.

My husband (Simon) and I used Peter last year to do some work in our basement and we were impressed. So, when we wanted to wall off our Family Room on our second floor, it was no question to contact Peter again. Again we were greatly impressed with the end result.
Peter took care of framing, drywall, installing some glass we wanted and installed the door as well. He did all this with great skill and professionalism. He even took extra care to consider the fact that we have 2 young children who needed to nap during the construction. We really appreciate everything he's done for us. Thank you Peter! ?
