Hired Canada Movers, they were 3 weeks late getting my furniture to me. They held it up in Calgary because it was not full, for at least a week. I was alone in a house in BC with two dogs. All I had was an air mattress. They told me each day late they credited $100.00 for a family of four to get a hotel and pay for food and thought that was good of them. When the truck arrived I helped unload because they were frustrated as they were late because of a storm. I was probably missing at least $7,000 worth of stuff, pictures, crystal, shoes, clothing, bed rails. They put the number stickers on the front of my furniture and when I peeled them off the paint came off. They told me it was sealed in Ontario, which the person at the house when they loaded it never saw them seal it, nor did they cut any seals upon arrival in front of me. They said I checked I received everything so there was no reimbursement except $100.00 for the damaged furniture. How would anyone know things in boxes, or whole boxes were missing. Are you suppose to go thru everything when they are there? Bed rails were missing, they insisted the guys offered to have it put together which they did not. If so i could have proven they were stolen as they were on the sheet that they went into the truck but did not come out. The girl at Canada Movers insisted they must be somewhere in my home they delivered to. Please do not use this company. Guy that comes in to access how much it costs was great, but then he disappears. Sales job to him, nothing else.
We had a move in late June to Huntsville area. The crews that loaded our belongings at our old home and unloaded at our new home were fantastic! Steve, Michael H., Shakeem, Paul and Sean worked pretty much a full day on the both ends and in the midst of a heat wave! Despite the heat, they all worked very hard and maintained pleasant attitudes. When we had some items/boxes we wanted moved after having them set some place they were happy to do so. The initial quote done by Dwight was spot on despite a house full of 40 years of possessions. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers that care.

We’ve used Canada Moving twice in the last year. First time was to move us from our original family home to a rental before we found our downsized house. The second was to complete the downsizing. Each time Uhmar and his team including Claude from Canada Moving made the transition somewhat painless. I hughly recommend Uhmar and his team. They were courteous, careful and were there to help us in any way they could. Competitively priced and service second to none!

I can’t say enough marvellous things about Canada Moving. We moved twice over the last year and used Canada Moving both times. From dealing with Louis at the first phone call to saying goodbye to the moving crew, Canada Moving made an incredibly stressful time easy and even enjoyable at times! The pricing is reasonable and competitive and there are no hidden fees. The movers treated our home and belongings with care and respect. Special shout out and thank you to Uhmar, Claude, Walter, and John for the amazing experience and service. I highly recommend Canada Moving for a straightforward and stress free moving experience.

The movers were friendly and experienced. They were efficient as they worked as a team and helped each other. They wrapped and protected everything and handled it carefully. They took care of our things.
It was a difficult move with lots of stairs and corners. They did not complain and did not waste time. Things could not have gone any better.
Smooth move.

I would not recommend using this company. They made an incredibly stressful situation even worse. It started out well with Blake doing a walk-through and estimate. However, once we gave our deposit, he became unresponsive. It was almost impossible to get a hold of him to work through important details. We finally got a hold of him days before our move and thought we had everything settled. Then on the day of the move, we received several calls from the company because Blake had not passed on any of our information. They had no idea we would not be there, even though we'd sent the lock box code days prior. They had no idea what needed to be moved, despite providing a complete list and talking through it with Blake that week. In the end, the best part of the move was Kyle, the lead mover at the new house, who made sure everything was put together properly and moved in. However, once we unpacked, we realized the movers had left a number of items behind! I had to drive five hours back to our old house to collect them. When I complained, I was told it was my fault that we hadn't had someone there to do a walk-through the day of the move (despite no one communicating this to us). Bottom line is that their communication is terrible and they do not take responsibility for their own poor service. For the amount of money you pay for their services, the experience should be far superior. I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

The best. From our initial contact with Dwight through to the end of the move, these guys were excellent. Reasonable prices, first class service, and they're just nice people to do business with. Moving can be very stressful, but we are very glad that we chose Canada Moving. They made it so much easier.
