When installing the heat pump and furnace at the end of January, I said that there was no need to install a new thermostat because I had a Google nest that I purchased last year, and the person you worked with said that it automatically turns on when the weather drops to -5 degree or -10 degree, the furnace works. And February 24th was a cold day. But the furnace wasn't working, so I sent you a text message saying the furnace wasn't working. And you promised to come on March 1st. But you didn't come and I attached the messages you sent me. 2. And I transferred $395 to you for fast stat fees on March 13th. But you are asking me for additional fees without even coming until now. Then I don't have to ask you for this job. Please refund $395. I'll try to get someone else. - Apr 27, 2024 Shawn, I can't contact you, so I'm leaving a message here. You installed a furnace and heat pump last January. However, only the heat pump worked but the furnace did not, so I made an additional request. I paid all, but you don't answer my phone or text. I know you are in the hard time, but a problem has arisen because you have ignored my request for over 2 months. I hope you can schedule to install it as soon as possible.

Dishonest, unprofessional and fraudulent. His company scheduled an install of a heat pump at my rental property at the end of February. He produced a bill and demanded immediate payment so he could pay his installers. We paid immediately. We had assumed that there were no concerns from the tennants or property manager that the install was a success. when the weather got much warmer and the tennnants switched to cooling, that’s when the fraud became evident. the property manager looked into why there was no cool air, they noticed no connections to the coil and unbelievably the outdoor unit was gone. essentially this so called HVAC contractor laid an outdoor unit with a coil replacement inside but never made any connections. they kept the unit unconnected outside until the energy auditor came and did the final inspection. once done in mid April the outdoor unit suddenly vanished. the property manager sent in their own hvac contractor to inspect and they verified the missing heat pump as well the unconnected coil that was leaking oil and refrigerant in the furnace room. Shawn was unresponsive and when we spoke to communicate our anger and looking for restitution he became beligerent and defiant and hung up on us. Ultimately we had to get another contractor to install a standalone ac unit to have cool air for the tennnants. This secondary contractor also sent pictures to demonstrate that the outdoor unit was never connected. if the unit was stolen for scrap metal recycling as is the case with unit thefts, thieves cut lines and run, these lines are professionally terminated. the secondary contractor also confirmed that neighbours witnessed the original contractor removing the heat pump that was initially laid on the slab in the picture. We have lodged a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and other consumer agencies. We have also reported the theft of the unit to York Region Police. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND SHAWN. Unreliable dishonest and fraudulent. Don’t waste your money. Go with a real HVAC company. Shawn your response does not address the fact that we have expert opinion and pictures from the contractor we sent in to fix your mess and your fraud. We have pictures, we have eye witness accounts from neighbours of the property and have already filed a police report with all the information. as you are a coward and a fraud, we don’t anticipate any response from you and will be proceeding with legal action against you. see you in court.

My furnace and air conditioner had a problem. The Ac condenser wasn't cranking and the heater wasn't blowing hot air. So at first I called to other HVAC groups, they couldn't fix it. Then I called Ontario HVAC group, They came on SATURDAY, and worked from noon till 12am (which was amazing considering that normally Saturday is their off day and the day after was Sunday), fixed all the problems, serviced and cleaned all the air conditioner parts as needed, and checked all the blowing and returning channels. They did a really great job. They are indeed the best and highly recommend if you want the job properly done

In the beginning I gave Shawn 5 star review since he had asked a good review so many times even before finishing his job installing a heat pump. Then I asked him to fix my gas fireplace which brings in a lot of cold air from outside when off. Then he started not showing up or coming 3-4 hours late. I was waiting patiently and finally he said the work was done. It has been couple of month since he "fixed" the issue, still our family room where the fireplace is is getting a lot of cold air from the fireplace. Do not hire this guy, you will regret!!
