We decided to finish our basement and chose Gibraltar Electric to do the wiring. When Nick made his initial visit with us, he listened when we told him what we wanted as far as fixtures, switches and outlets and he either agreed or suggested alternatives that were far better than our first thoughts. In his work, Nick was professional and provided us with high quality fixtures, taking the time to explain every step along the way. Everything was to code and we passed both inspections without any issues whatsoever. We will certainly have Gibraltar Electric back in the future when we need the service of an electrician. Highly recommended.

Nick and Steve did a good job on our panel upgrade last year, but not the greatest job on our kitchen electrical work. Also, I would recommend getting a price up front and not commissioning work by the hour. Overall, they were pleasant to deal with and generally responsive.

Nick was great. Kept me posted on his arrival time. Checked the power in the breaker and fuse and let me know there were no issues. Fixed the fuse panel door and put up a new light fixture. Price was reasonable and he is very professional. Highly recommend Nick and would call him again.

I look to them for all my electrical needs and refer them every chance I get. A rare commodity in the trades; they are knowledgeable, have good communication, are friendly and honest. Looking forward to the next project with Gibraltar.

We have used Nick on several occasions to replace pot lights and install other fixtures in our house. He has always been easy to work with. He is punctual and performs excellent quality work. On one earlier occasion he was able to install a light fixture in a closet with minimum disruption whereas we were told by a previous electrician it would have to involve crawling through our attic and cutting holes in the ceiling. Nick has many years experience and he shows it. We highly recommend him for any electrical work.

Nicholas from Gibraltar Electric in Toronto, knows his stuff. I have hired Nicholas on numerous occasions, for renovation client projects that required panel upgrading, restoration, electrical wiring upgrades, light fixture and plug installation, you name it! He has dealt with clients who were difficult to handle (aka "know it alls") with patience and fortitude and good humour. When Nicholas promises to be there at 10am on Friday morning of a long weekend, he shows up. He gets the job done. Would I recommend Nicholas? YES! Without reservation! As an interior decorator and designer, it is important that the trades I recommend be trustworthy. When I recommend Nicholas, I know I won't be disappointed and neither will my clients. My best, Chrisse Allan Interiors & Design

I'm big into DIY, but you have to know when to outsource. When it comes to electric work, I personally would only trust a professional. I have to say, I'm incredibly happy with Nick from Gibraltar Electric. He takes the time to explain things well so you know exactly what he has to do and why. I found him to be very respectful of my home and my time - I highly and confidently recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician.
