Purchased a simple single hung Jeld-Wen window online through home depot. Took 3 weeks to arrive. It was inoperable as soon as installed. Lifted window the sash came apart, would not come out of frame, totally useless. Contacted Jeld-Wen for service and was told 4 weeks, followed up just now and told Sept 19th. My message don’t buy Jeld-Wen windows, if you have problem with product service takes months. Very disappointed and I am a patient person Update A very helpful technician did come and service window Here’s the rub, the window design was not one he’d seen before. He fashioned a fix and the window operates but I am concerned about how reliable this window will be. Big thanks to technician but if I knew what I know now then I would not has chosen Jeld Weld

We renovated every window in our house with Homedepot’s Jeldwen windows. 7 years later they are getting moisture and stains in between the pains and our every window with internal blinds has stopped working. So depressing

Avoid if you can. 3 year old house with windows and doors by Jeldwen. Issues since the first day continuing until now. 2 windows are not closing. Multiple services and nothing changed until I finally got them to adjust the frame. Multiple windows with failed seals. Still being replaced because any service call takes at least 2 months and they often forget or mix up measurements. Same thing with one exterior door. Still not fixed despite multiple services appointments.

I have 2 sets of Jeld-Wen exterior French doors which leak during heavy rain. The product is of poor quality. The company provides no service or support to address the problem. Their customer service is non-existent.

Some of the worst service I've ever experiences, I had these windows installed in early 2023. Several cracks and faulty hardware, you are directed to warranty for service. They simply DO NOT answer the phone or reply through their online portal. We've been trying for three months with no response from Jeld Wen, wish we used different manufacturer.

We have a new home full of the Hybrid windows, vynal with aluminum cladding. In a years time, we have 10 of the 35 sashes being replaced under warrenty as the cladding is splitting at the corners. Even though warrenty is covering this, I'm very dissatisfied with the number of them with problems and have 0 confidence in the product. This comes after a fight over 3 Siteline patio doors, which were damaged and garbage. They did take them back though. Wish we had never chose this company.

We got new style windows from JELD-WEN. The cost of the windows $900-$1200 each and we bought them through Home Depot. It has been a month and half now and JELD-WEN tell Home Depot that the windows come like that (see in the pics below.) I show the pics to a lot of builders and they said that they have never seen anything like that before. I regret buying from JELD-WEN. We had another option (Farley Windows) and they are $175-$200 cheaper than JELD-WEN AND 110% better in quality. I am stuck, it has been 3 months and they have told me nothing.

Probably the worst products on the market. in 2019 we installed 6 doors and 22 windows for a Client. With that amount of product, budget was an issue, so we ordered from Jeld-Wen. after the promised 6 week delivery time, we recieved our order 14 weeks later to find several broken windows, damaged frames, nailing flanges on every window (NOT what we ordered) and terrible customer service from day one. After dozens of missed appointments for repairs and replacements, I still have no idea if these issues ave been resolved as our Client no longer wishes to deal with us. Can't say I blame her either. Dealing with this company was embrassing for my own. Fast forward to today. We installed a patio door and 4 windows on a project. ALL of them pieces of garbage. ALL of them going back to the store at my own expense. Why? because nobody there answers the phone, takes notes or returns emails or calls. So, there's nothing left to do but file suit in court and hope I get reimbursed for my costs and compensation for our Client. Maybe I'll get lucky and somebody will actually show up in a Courtroom.

VERY poor service. We received our French doors with a MASSIVE amount of damage. It has been 99 days since we were told that our claim had been approved. We still haven't had them repaired. It has been 20+ days since we have last heard from Jeldwen when we were told that the doors were in and we were waiting to have them scheduled to be changed. After many emails Jeldwen has completely stopped responding to our emails. So here we are now well past when Home Depot will do anything for us, and a renovation that is complete and we have massively damaged doors.
