Jeff and Brian from Durham Plastering & Damp Proofing were recommended to me by various friends/colleagues. They came and completed internal plastering work and gable end repair works to my house, they were very reliable and professional. The works completed were to a very high standard and on time. After the works were completed they ensured they left the house clean and tidy.
I would definitely highly recommend Durham Plastering & Damp Proofing to anyone wanting professional plastering and damp proofing works completing.
I have used other plastering companies before and not had a good experience, Durham Plastering and Damp Proofing are the only professional company i have found in this area.

I employed Durham plastering to skim my living room and dining room. This was obviously subcontracted out.
The plasterer didn't use a unibond and all of the plaster fell off the walls and ceilings.
They offered and planned to put it right, but just didn't turn up on 4/5 occasions and multiple phone calls & have chosen to just ignore our reaching out.
The job cost £580 which we paid on completion, and all replaced within two weeks by another contractor we appointed and had to pay again.
Jeff promised to return £300 which never materialised.
I'm still seeking money from the job which was completed in October 2022, which now has to go through a small claims court. Amazed if they are at the address on companies house which I've visited multiple times to no avail.
Spoken with multiple tradesman who these "cowboys" owe money too.
Please beware when using Durham plastering.

Great standard of work. Used before and really nice guys and work really fast to get the work done. I was after someone coming in quite short notice and Jeff massively helped me out. Bit of a change of plan due to time and availability but came to help me out on a Sunday which was greatly appreciated. Would recommend and would happily use again :)

Jeff and Brian are very friendly and helpful . They carried out the work in a timely way, did a very good job and tidied up afterwards. We were very impressed with them and would definitely use them again.

Excellent job plastering over artex on a large living room and dining room ceiling and repairing a hole in the ceiling at the same time, thank you so much. Jeff and his team worked exceptionally hard and to a very high standard. They were friendly and professional, arrived on time, and had great communication. Very good value for money! So pleased that we used Durham Plastering for our garage conversion.
They have done a 5* job, after a dodgy builder left the walls in need of a difficult plastering job.
Jeff and Adam, the two main people on our job, worked really hard and we now have lovely smooth, professionally finished walls, that we are super pleased with.
Will be using Durham Plastering again in the future when we extend further.
