Quality if the windows is good and the staff who fit them are good too. But the office staff communication and organisation is shocking. Took just over 4 weeks from start to Finnish to complete our windows all down to miss communication from office staff who when the guy came out to take the exact measurements had to come back because he got some information wrong, then when the fitters came there was no lintels so couldn't do some windows. But the guy who measured it up said there was. Then they didn't arrange for the fitters to come out with the builder so couldn't do the bow window. Then the chap who measures came out again to check if there was a lintels, assured us there definitely was one so sent the fitters out again but there definitely wasn't one. Then when you ring to complain the manager Niel just gave attitude and said I have to understand there issues.
Herron Windows had been recommended to me by my parents, who have used for several projects over the years (new conservatory, windows, and front door). I was in need of a new front door, which Herron has recently supplied and fitted and we are so pleased with the finished product.
Everyone we have dealt with throughout the process has been really helpful and professional. We would recommend this company and will use again for future projects.

These guys fitted our new bay windows and I have to say what a great bunch of lads that this company have, Reece another guy I forget his name, Aaron and Andy all worked really hard to sort our bay window out.
They were all professional, had good banter and got the job done.
There was a little mistake with fitting the sill but a gentleman called roger swiftly came out to sort it and in the end it looks fantastic, i will recommend this company to anyone that wants their windows doing.

Again we are extremely happy with the service given and quality of our new front door, after using Herron Windows previously for our last 2 houses .. the quality it still there !!

We ordered a conservatory from Herron back in April to be started in September. After I had rang them on numerous occasions they finally started work in November they hardly ever rang back or kept us updated about anything. When the builders turned up to start the foundations and brickwork it was hit and miss when they would turn up as if they were fitting us in in-between other projects.
When they started work they found a problem with the existing house pipework which was in the way so had to be moved at an extra cost to us of £1500.00 which should have been spotted on the original survey. We had to deal directly with the builders as Herron still weren't being hands on at all. Even when the conservatory was nearly finished they fitted the wrong light/fan so we had to get it swapped.
They only finished everything by mid January very disappointing communication and terrible customer service we have used Herron for new doors and windows in the past and my partner has had conservatories from them at previous properties with no problems but unfortunately this was a terrible experience costing us extra money and with the time delays forcing us to delay other projects
As for the reply the wooden structure was removed before the survey was carried and we did know the manhole cover was there

We were let down between “can do” sales process and post agreement to proceed survey stage revealing extensive complication and price increase. Wasted time and now have to look again with already rejected other contractors. Would not recommend.
Further to your response I totally agree re safety. However this was specifically discussed at the time with your sales rep, who checked with his colleague at the time, and we were advised that only one elevation “may” require scaffold. At survey this became all elevations at additional cost. Feels like a low ball sales price to then up the price once client is committed in time terms and has declined other offers.

We have used Herron many times over the years and have always been very satisfied they have just replaced our facia's etc and their fitters were first class very tidy and even cleaned up when they had finished.

Very professional service from start to finish. The Herron team have great product knowledge and gave us time to choose without being pushy which is refreshing these days. Excellent product range and very competitive prices. Would definitely recommend to others
