Alan is an absolute gent and his survey information was invaluable to me. A very detailed building survey completed and report produced within 24hours meant I could decide what / if I wanted to proceed on the property - more importantly gave me the ability to confidently renegotiate with the seller. Having read the report from cover to cover (3 hours!) Alan was always available for me to go through my concerns / his observations and offered further helpful advice. I've now got a comprehensive "things to do" list once I take possession of the house - and some fantastic photos of areas you would never normally see! I've never had this level of detail (and backup from the man himself) before, after using numerous 'chain' surveyors over the years. I cant speak highly enough of Alan and the service he provides - and will be insisting the my daughter uses him when they move in the next couple of years. Thanks Alan! Jim & Sarah Ashton.

Really great surveyor and a lovely guy to chat to, he was able to advise my partner and I really well as first time buyers and helped us avoid a lot of mistakes! Highly recommend, especially for anyone not familiar with buying as he explained everything very patiently and was good at getting in touch quickly with answers.

Alan carried out a level 3 homebuyers survey on a house we had an offer accepted on. It was very easy to get hold of him and he responded quickly to our emails. The report was very detailed and came very quickly (the same day when the survey was done). As FTB we had a lot of questions and Alan was very helpful answering our questions and explaining the details. Highly recommend!

My name is Michael A and I needed a Homebuyers Report to assist me in buying a house in Dunstable. I was introduced to Alan J Rance by a relative of mine who is a local Estate Agent. I could not be more happy with Alan's Report. In terms of the length and depth of detail backed up with dozens of close up photographs written in easy to understand English. Alan provides customer service that is very user friendly and made himself available up to 9.00pm which I found incredible. He produced the report within the same day he carried it out and typically it is within 24 hours. I would have no hesitation in using Alan again or recommending him to any of my family members and friends. He sets a bar of technical quality and Customer Service standards that other surveyors would find difficult to match. For me this is5 Star quality

I was introduced to Alan when he carried out an EPC survey and a structural survey on behalf of our buyer. I was impressed with Alan's thoroughness and professionalism. Later when I needed a full structural survey on a property that I was purchasing I had no hesitation in asking Alan. Our survey was carried out quickly and professionally and we received the written report within 24 hours. I would have no hesitation recommending Alan Rance Surveyors.
