Not worth the money, and poor after-sales help.
We had a staircase done in 2022. Looks superficially decent, but beneath that the quality was ok but by no means brilliant. We had a couple of snagging issues, but broadly felt fobbed off with the follow up.
We obviously didn’t expect full making good (e.g. painting), but filling gaping holes left in the plasterboard around the stairs would have been nice for the money paid.
In 2024 we were having new flooring laid around the staircase. We had a question for Abbott Wade around how the bottom step had been installed to help our floor fitters. We emailed them. No answer, followed up with phone call and was promised a response. Absolutely zilch!
When you’ve paid the best part of £12k for work from a company, you’d hope for much, much better service than this. Very disappointed on aftercare.
Wouldn’t recommend. Wouldn’t use again.
Had two staircases fitted by Abbot-Wade, two different fitters, both were great, really pleased with them, the finish is excellent and I would recommend them to anyone. We had several quotes from other companies and Abbot- Wade were the cheapest by far

Can’t say enough good things about Mike Wade and his team. We have just had a full staircase replaced and the job is amazing. They arrived on time, delivered exactly what we asked for and left the place in a cracking condition. Looks absolutely amazing. Thanks sooooo much. Would definitely use Abbott Wade again and recommend others do too.

Expertly crafted work completed within the alloted time.
Has given the house a new lease of life.
Highly recommended.
Fitters were very professional. Cleaned up quite well after all the work was done.

Abbott Wade installed oak and glass bannisters in our house recently and they are just fabulous.
All ran seemlessly, from the initial meeting with their salesman, measuring up and then the fitters' arrival to the minute they left. I encountered barely any disruption.
Lee and the chaps were great - turned up early each day and worked tirelessly for 3 days. All very friendly and professional.
They left no mess at all (well apart from the dust, but that's expected) - disposing of all the old bannisters and other debris.
Thanks also to Lana who handled all the admin and couldn't have been more helpful.
They have transformed our house into a home and we love it.
