One of my gates was broken, so i gave Andy a call to see if he could assist me with this matter. After quickly coming out and diagnosing the problem, he ordered the parts and got it fixed for me right away. Andy is very experienced in his trade and i will definitely be using him again in future. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.
One of the worst experiences in my life. Andy apparently is only an electric motor installer and is not a gate installing company. PLEASE DO NOT MISTAKE HIM TO BE A GATE COMPANY.
He recommended I call a number to get someone to come and install the gates. This was Steve from Ace Welding & Powder Coating Services Ltd. Steve gave a high quote which I accepted given the great reviews here for Andy. Steve came and installed the doors but they were not installed properly - subsequently confirmed by a number of other gate companies as causing health hazard alongwith poor welding and powder coating.
Andy then saw the installation and simply started to ignore installing the electric motor. Highly unprofessional, he didn't attend calls and washed his hands off the job putting us in a position where we have gates that have been partially installed and to a bad standard, down a sum that would have been sufficient to get gates installed from completely!
I would steer clear of this charlatan and extremely unprofessional individual (this is me not mentioning the multiple calls i tried to make over many weeks to no response).
Only writing this review to warn others.

Andy, unfortunately you can’t use this cop out here. You sent this company and asked me to get gates installed from them. Then you disappeared without any heads up on a holiday and recommended I get the gates automated by anyone else. You then came back from holidays, had a look and realised the job was not done properly and simply disappeared without any notice.
I can only thank God that I didn’t agree to your demand of a 50% advance payment without entering into a contract. Can understand why you think that would have a first in 30 years from your side

Andy fitted motors on existing non-electric gates for us. We went with him as his quoted price was reasonable and he seemed to know what he was doing - and we were proved right! The gates work great, and he was efficient and very responsive to texts/communications. Would recommend.

Andy from Automatic Security Gates was recommended to me and l can see why.
The motors on my gates needed replacing ,
Andy quoted and replaced them within a week, The quote was very good and with no surprising extras when it come to installing them. I would definitely recommend him.

Andy came to look at our gates, ordered a part and came back within a day or two to repair them.
We had been quoted 10 times more than he charged.
Great guy, very efficient and reliable.
I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing help with electric gates.
