Highly recommend Direct Appliances. They are reliable, professional, efficient, honest and reasonably priced. Can't say that about many trades these days. I highly recommend them.

Rafiq was an honest man who advised me that our old washing machine was not worth repairing. He installed the new one very quickly and efficiently. I recommend him completely.

From the beginning I explained the problem with my dishwasher. A gentleman came and said that they would get back to me regarding the parts. The visit was about 10 mins. This cost £85. They got back to me and they told me the parts are no longer available. I asked the name of the parts which they gave. They then said even if I had the parts there is no guarantee that it would fix the problem. Complete waste of money. I’m down £85 for a 10 minute visit and still have a broken dishwasher. Please be careful.

Really prompt response to our enquiry and were able to come straight away. They were very honest about the relative costs of replacing the whole washing machine vs attempting repairs so I think saved us some money in the end.

I never do reviews but I have never experienced such a bad customer journey I had to mention on here. I paid for a new fridge / freezer with removal and installation added to my order. Drivers showed up, came into the flat, accusing it of smelling of gas and left. I couldn’t smell anything but I of course understood and got the emergency gas services out within 30 minutes which they reported no leaks and also couldn’t smell anything. Anyways got the delivery scheduled again for the following day, SAME driver shows up comes back into the kitchen and refuses to do the delivery because there was stairs. I couldn’t believe it. He was in my flat less than 24 hours ago and didn’t stay a thing about this and his reasoning was “well I didn’t think I’d be the one delivering this again so didn’t bother mentioning”. Appliance direct say it’s up to the drivers discretion to go up stairs so they cancelled the order. I have used so many providers before and never been turned away for stairs when paying for the additional service or removal and installation. Wasted two days waiting around and now still out of a fridge and needing to wait for a refund. Don’t waste your time and order from another company.

The team were quick to respond and I was pleased they were able to repair my cooker/oven. They were punctual, polite and diligent in finding and repairing numerous faults. I had a really positive experience. Phoned this morning and got an appointment this afternoon, received a text confirming the time window and Rafiq arrived in it. He was quick, polite, tidy and very helpful. He identified the problem, had the spare part in his van and completed the replacement without any fuss. I paid by card and immediately received an emailed invoice and receipt. I was very impressed with this incredibly efficient service and recommend this company. Thank you!
