Dominique and the Extension Architecture Team have stuck with us on a very difficult project to secure change of use permission from the council. We were hit with delays, Covid, change of planning lead and almost every conceivable objection from the council which the team patiently and professionally worked to resolve. The project has taken up significantly more of the EA team’s time but they’ve always made themselves available to us to work through the next unexpected challenge! It truly has been a test of all of our resilience and we’re so grateful that Dominique was there to guide us through such a vague and frustrating process, and ultimately helped us achieve our goal of securing a change of use permission just shy of three years into the process. Next step the purchase and actually doing the works!
We started the journey 2 years ago when we were point blank refused planning. Zak was immediately on it identifying the changes that would need to be made. The team excel in their engagement with authorities - highly professional, knowledgable and skilled negotiators! He designed and restructured, working with us and checking in often. Supported by Steph and Dom, the team have succeeded and we are beyond pleased with the result.

Zak has been absolutely brilliant with helping us with our project, he listened to all our wishes and concerns and offered great solutions that we would never think of ourselves.
He has also successfully navigated a fairly tricky planning application and managed to secure the planning permission that we were almost sure would not go through!
Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful team of professional designers - with the client’s needs and style in mind - they designed the ground floor extension including the new layout for the kitchen, pantry, utility, storage options in the hallway, WC and lounge. Their creativity, ideas and endless patience was greatly appreciated given the number of changes and iterations for the layout and design.. the 3D renders really bring it to life and the kitchen they designed is beautiful. They are now sourcing products and I cannot wait to see the final results when the project is over. It’s been a pleasure working with them!

We’re so pleased with how our project has turned out. The team at EA were so helpful throughout – from Steph during the planning stage to Faizal, Akash, Young and team through the construction phase. We did a single-storey rear extension and a first-floor bathroom renovation and we knew our budget was tight, but we managed to achieve everything we wanted and more. When we’re ready to do our loft conversion, we’ll be in touch with EA again!
