I had bespoke shelving units fitted under a sloping ceiling and the whole process was wonderfully quick and easy. They helped me come up with a design that suited my requirements and built the shelves in two days under what must have been cramped conditions (a big sofa bed in the way, and me working in the same room). I'm very happy with the result and would like to thank the whole team for this great enhancement to my apartment.
Very happy with the wardrobe and bookcase that hcabinets made for us. Each stage of design, build and painting was done to a high standard. The team was professional and careful to leave everything clean and tidy. I hesitated over the price but it’s worth the expense.

Great service. Prompt communications. Really great to see proper drawings with all measurements before they were built. Love the finished product and was really glad that care was taken to cover existing furniture and the place was cleaned up after the shelves were completed. Really not much hassle during the building and painting process.
Would definitely recommend Humphries.

This is simply the best company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with be it for a product or service, Not only that but their pricing is on par with other bespoke carpentry providers.
From The initial consultations to the guidance, recommendations and completion of the contract and sale by Zephyr was outstanding. Extremely professional but very down to earth and approachable - really felt that I could ask all of those stupid questions that you want to ask at the beginning to make sure it’s right.
To be honest you always think the sales bit will be great (especially if it’s the owner) and then you expect a bit of a downward trend from then until completion BUT I couldn’t have been more wrong. Veronica the Project Manager talked me through the detail and the drawings as if we were talking about her own house, even down to the level of detail of whether or not I’d be able to reach the top rail of the cupboard! We spent a lot of time making sure absolutely every detail was correct before signing off the plans. Veronica was at real pains to explain how important it was to get this right to ensure no mid implementation changes and also explained the cost of doing changes mid delivery which frankly is absolutely fair enough. Then Lea and Joe turn up as the on-site carpenters. Both of them had a calm hard working ethic. They knew exactly what they were doing and didn’t need to ask me any questions whatsoever so I felt that they had an extremely thorough handover and briefing. They worked soooo hard! If anything I wanted them to take some more breaks. Polite, professional, neat and absolutely precise- I’ve included some crazy detail photos of the cutting and fitting around the skirting that they did (prior to the final paint) Detail obsessed is the words I’d use to describe this phase of the works . Then finally Kimi - the first total workaholic painter I think I’ve ever met. She clearly goes into some kind of Uber calm and happy zone when she’s painting as her happy calm joyous demeanour makes you want to pick up a paintbrush lol Finished the job earlier than expected, extremely neat and precise again. Works were paid for in tranches as each phase completes which seems fair. At every stage, I’ve been blown away by this company. I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and frankly wouldn’t let anyone else touch any woodwork in my house - if only they did windows, carpets, extensions as well. Like I said simply the best company I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with (and nope I don’t have any friends or relatives that work there just a genuine happy customer.)

We briefed Humphries on challenging walk in wardrobe build in our loft room. Given the complexity of the job we didn’t have many ideas but Humphries suggested various designs and iterated them several times before we approved the final drawing.
The job was scheduled for 2 days and was amazingly completed in 1 day. Both carpenters were very diligent and efficient determined to compete the job as soon as possible which suited us. We hardly noticed them during the day. They covered up the rest of the room with loads of dust sheets and meticulously cleaned up. We were ecstatic with the final build which exactly met our expectations. We could not thank Humphries more and would not hesitate to contact them again for future bespoke fittings.

We have used Humphries twice. This was for bespoke wardrobe, desk, shelving and cabinets. Their attention to detail is excellent. This was particularly evident for fitting and painting. From the first discussion, to measurements, design and sign off, they were very responsive, and were competitively priced.

I chose Humphries for an alcove cabinet and a fitted wardrobe after reading the great reviews and receiving a competitive quote. I had a great experience with everyone that I dealt with - at the initial visit to measure, during the discussions on design and coordination, the carpenters and the painter - and am very pleased with the end results! They are a very friendly, professional company that I would definitely recommend.
