An incredible and professional service! We have done 3 previous renovations and Proficiency are the most superior building company we’ve ever worked with. Besnik’s building team is second to none, really efficient (which is rare!) and produced amazing quality work. Besnik is a find, so knowledgeable, helpful and actually made the renovation an enjoyable experience. I couldn’t recommend them more (already have recommended them to all friends and family).

Proficiency have just completed our house refurbishment in Camden Town, which included a two storey extension at the rear of a Victorian townhouse and modernisation throughout. We are very grateful for how hard the full team have worked and how reliable they were throughout. The first step was for them to provide the architectural drawings and we obtained planning permission, during which time they provided a detailed quote via Oliver and Phil. What appealed to us what that they provided comfort that it was in their interest as well as ours for them to work quickly and that they provided a one stop shop from design to practical completion, rather than us having to juggle different trades. They started on site in mid-October 2023, completing the work five months later - exactly to programme. Everybody I spoke to said they would never do it but they did! Besi was the master builder/site manager, organising and overseeing all works and explaining everything to us. He went the extra mile throughout, even helping us move all our furniture back in to the house from the flat which we were renting! Ammar was our project manager and was easily contactable throughout the entire project, he answered his phone every single time I called him and I'm not sure he ever had a day off! Dani was a builder which we had on-site throughout and once he has had his morning Red Bull there is nothing that he couldn't do! On the final day he was extremely helpful hanging up curtain rails, installing cabinets and just generally making our house liveable. Luli is the electrician/plumber and all round magician! He was very helpful informing the electrical design and no matter how many times I changed my mind on where I wanted a shaver socket to go he kept a smile on his face. Besnik was the carpenter who did a great job providing several cupboards to help make the house look complete and finish our kitchen off, given that our fitters didn't work to Proficiency's standards! The guys on-site kept the site tidy throughout and were always professional. We are very pleased that we chose Proficiency, they have exceeded our expectations and we are already recommending them to others. Although it is great to have our house back and completed, we do miss having them around! Gary, Sarah and Luke

We contracted Proficiency to build our kitchen extension, which involved a few months of construction work and the design and fitting of our new kitchen. The project ran extremely smoothly, and we would not hesitate to strongly recommend this company. We were kept regularly informed of progress at all times but they managed the entire project meticulously, and completed the work within projected timelines and right on budget, which is rare in this industry. The team were extremely considerate and professional, working within agreed hours during the day and ensuring a minimum of noise and disruption to us and our neighbours during the construction. The kitchen was designed excellently, and down to the finest detail the team at Proficiency took great pride in their work and customer satisfaction. The whole experience has been outstanding from start to finish and we would heartily recommend using this company.

Proficiency is one of the best design and build companies out there today. We recently worked with them on a large renovation/new build from foundation to complete finish for over 12 months and they were professional, on-time and on-budget the whole way through—which is very rare in this industry. Their pricing is competitive and the quality of work is excellent. Toby was our project manager and did an fantastic job of managing day-to-day schedules and oversight. Besi was our site manager throughout and worked tirelessly to make sure the standard of work was always the highest. Luli oversaw the plumbing and electrical work and brought a lot of smart thinking to improve our plans and carry out a completely professional job. The whole team is exceptional to work with - I would definitely work with them again and I highly recommend asking for them to oversee your project.
