Overall

When I was assigned Crawfords by my insurer, AXA, who had been very slow, my expectation was low given that Crawford's has one of the worst Google review ratings I've ever seen at 1.3 stars. I recently had the pleasure of working with Crawford's General Property Adjuster, Stephen Argent, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. From the moment I initiated my claim through him, the professionalism and expertise of the adjuster were evident.

The adjuster assigned to my case was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive to every detail. They took the time to explain the entire process to me, ensuring I understood each step and what to expect.

Additionally, the adjuster was empathetic and understanding of the stress and inconvenience that comes with property damage. They were patient and supportive throughout the process, which made a significant difference in my overall experience.

Thanks to Crawford's General Property Adjuster, my claim was processed efficiently. Their professionalism and commitment to excellence are commendable. They went above and beyond, and I am grateful for their exceptional service.

Awful company.
We waited FOUR YEARS to finally get a date for our subsidence to be fixed.
When the date finally came to have the building work started, they failed to re-home us in time and the building work had to be cancelled.

They tried blaming the company A3 for not moving us out , however it was Crawfords that never responded to emails and calls from A3, City Construction and myself during the months / weeks / days to the lead up to our subsidence being fixed.

It’s now almost been a month since it all fell through and we still haven’t heard from them.
We have no idea when our falling down house will be fixed and we’re still living out of suitcases we packed to move out, not knowing what’s going on.

Awful company - they should be ashamed of themselves and their customer service!

Absolutely useless.

They do nothing proactively and just wait for complaints to come through before they respond. When they do act, they repeat the same incorrect actions over and over again.

For this reason, I’ve had an ongoing subsidence claim for 3 years with no end in site. Crawfords have been unable to even organise the removal a tree - let alone anything else.

Their staff don’t care at all and churn incredibly quickly so you have to start all over again. Also, no manager will ever take on the case to drive action.

Can only imagine their business plan… do everything you can to ensure you do not get stuck with them as your loss adjustors!

The communication has been awful, with constant chasing required. Even when we do receive communication, it's often misleading. It appears that the staff are unaware of what's happening. I'd recommend avoiding this company to prevent unnecessary headaches.

Extremely rude and incompetent customer service. I called my credit card provider looking for advice regarding an ongoing travel emergency and was transferred to Crawford and Company. Horrible phone call. Immediately made me feel like I was an idiot for calling. I felt personally humiliated, berated and helpless after an attempt to talk with them on the phone. Not a good front for the company. I’ll be contacting my credit card company again to describe the issue and ask why they are associated with Crawford and Company.
