May 2020 - Cararra quartz worktop for kitchen.
We originally sourced a quote from Granite & Marble Ltd in late 2019 when shopping around. In late April 2020 our new kitchen was ready for the worktop and we decided to go ahead so ordered through Demetri - I can't rate him or the company highly enough.
We got a great deal and the finished product is perfect. Our choice was in stock so was cut and delivered 2 days after we paid our deposit. The installers were professional and fast - it took around one hour to unload and fit. Demetri was friendly, professional and couldn't have been more helpful. 10/10 all round!
This is a cowboy business - do not go near it. I understand they were once good, however the founder passed away and the family members who took it over are not of the same calibre. We commissioned them for a large (five figure) whole house project that included kitchen worktops, utility room worktops, bath surrounds, shower floors, bespoke vanity tops among other items. As soon as we paid our deposit it became nearly impossible to get hold of them (Demetri the owner specifically) to actually do the work they had been paid for. It took weeks of chasing and ignored messages and demands to have our deposit returned to get any sort of response. Eventually they sent people to template the first phase - which they do in an extremely rudimentary method. It then took months of chasing, calls, demands to return my deposit and calls to the showroom (to speak to the employees who are at least more responsive than the owner) to eventually get someone to actually start to make any items - in this case a marble bath surround and marble floor for a WC and shower cubicle. Unsurprisingly given the rudimentary templating the marble bath surround was (1) too small and we are left with a large gap before the tiles which looks horrific and (2) cracked that they had tried to repair out. They also forgot that there is Under Floor Heating in the WC so did not bring the correct adhesive to affix the floor (which has been left unfitted). They are claiming the marble surround ‘had to be small’ because it was too difficult to move into position due to tiles being installed by the contractor. Our contractor has offered to replace the surrounding, which would show them they simply templated wrong and are making false claims. I have sensibly proposed that if the contractor is able to fit a correctly sized marble bath surround it should be the responsibility of Granite London to cover the cost since it shows the error is theirs (and conversely if it can’t be done it of course wouldn’t be). Unsurprisingly after much chasing to get any sort of response they have refused this suggestion - which tells you all you need to know about their workmanship. I cannot stress enough, do not go near.

We had been let down by other suppliers and asked Granite and Marble to supply and fit at late notice. They were nice, helpful, flexible, offered good value and a very high quality product and service and fitted co-operatively round other people's complicated schedules on both the templating and installation. We are delighted with the result and Martin in the office and Demetri doing the installation were great to work with.

It is a pleasure to work with the professionals at Granite & Marble UK. They instantly understood the specification for my custom vanity top and shelf and had a huge variety of marble to choose from. After visiting to measure they completed the piece quickly, and when they turned up to install it fit perfectly, as specified. No fuss, no issues, just great sservice!

Just had our worktop, splash back and island with a mitred end panel fitted by Granite London. It looks exquisite and we can’t stop looking at it and touching it. We loved every one of their staff that we met, all were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and highly skilled. We are so glad we found Granite & Marble UK Ltd, we enjoyed their appreciation of natural stone and felt they looked after us very well. We look forward to enjoying their handiwork and our beautiful Piracema Granite for many years to come.

They fitted very nice carrera quartz worktops for me. Got it all done quickly and at a reasonable price.
On top of that, my builder put a small chip in the worktop a few weeks later and they sent someone out to fix it for free which I thought was very generous of them.

Incredible service - the team were so helpful and very accommodating (they went out of their way to install our worktops in time for our wedding, with only a couple of weeks' notice). The finish is stunning - I cannot recommend them enough, and look forward to our next project with them!

We commissioned Granite & Marble to source, cut and finish a suitable stone which could act as a substitute for what was once a ceramic top to a Ligne Roset dining table. This was quite a request as the calibrations of fashioning a 100+kg sheet within the fine tolerances of a CNC engineered aluminium frame are not straightforward. There was a 2mm inset line of sight that had to be maintained around the entire perimeter of the stone (including rounded edges) and we requested that once completed we desired a viewable pencil top lipped overhang of 10mm. These are fine tolerances by any standard, how the extraordinary craftsman at Granite & Marble managed to achieve this with a sheet of organic material such as our 'Zebra' marble remains a mystery to me and will likely be the talking point amongst curious dinner guests post the Covid lockdown. This firm is an honest, highly capable and talented group of artisans who know their trade and possess the skills to delight. We're thrilled with the results as shown in the image of the finished item attached.

we purchased some granite kitchen worktops nearly 20 years ago. Yanis was delightful, and I'm so pleased that his son is now running the business with the same friendly and helpful manner. We're as pleased with the granite today as we were the day it was fitted and it still looks as good. Just made contact again for a minor job, and am so pleased to deal with them again. Highly recommended!

We just had our new kitchen worktop fitted and are quite happy with it. We got our kitchen done by Magnet Kitchens, which we are pleased with, but their quote for the granite worktop was quite high, so we decided to look at direct suppliers. Granite & Marble's price was 40% cheaper, and they had a lot more choices.
The guy that came for templating and fitting spoke little English, so communication was a bit of a challenge which left me a little concerned. But the final product is perfectly done and fitted, so no complaints! The office staff have been very helpful and accommodating, and communication with them was no problem at all.

My girlfriend and I are delighted with our work surfaces. We went for a lovely Brazilian Quartz. Martin also came up with a few suggestions for splashbacks and the like. These did add to the cost, but I am very pleased to have them.

Great value for money and really friendly guys that own/run the shop. They have a great selection of marbles/granites etc to pick from and fit them very quickly (mine arrived in 7 days!). I've just had my kitchen worktops fitted and couldn't be happier!!!
