They are skilled sound specialists who truly know what they are doing. Being a small company also helps; you speak with the same people all the time. There are no impersonal chatboxes or lengthy waits before being attended to. This allows you to create a personal relationship with them. Great experience from the entire team at The Soundproof windows from initial contact to door install and after-care. We had a relatively challenging front door replacement ask, due to the door assembly being very large and us wanting to re-use some of the old stained glass and re-imagine it in the new design. The pricing was fair compared to other quotes we got, and they were the only ones designing the door with soundproof-ing in mind as well (Banham would not even quote us for the work for example, and they joked it would cost some astronomical figure!). They put us in contact with a stained glass artist who was able to cut our original stained glass, and create new stained glass panels to integrate in the design - we were very happy with that aspect. The new door is very solid and night and day difference from a noise and insulation perspective to what we had before, so much so that the downstairs hallways is probably the warmest area in the house now! Communication was great throughout the project, installation was finished in time and the team worked very cleanly and made good on the damaged areas during door removal (it was hard to believe such a complex door removal took place only 1 day before) - we only had to re-paint around the internal door frame which was very easy. Overall I highly recommend working with the team here - they are very knowledgeable, fair and get the job done, and the entire experience left us very impressed. We will likely work with them in the future for replacing our current double glazing.

If road noise is bothering you (as it did me) then the Soundproof Windows products really work. We started with sash windows and the impact on reducing road noise means I am no longer woken at 4am in the morning from speeding cars (in a speed restricted zone). Given the success of the windows we replaced the front door. Again this effectively reduced the road noise level to the extent I do not notice it. As part of an extensive refurbishment we also had the company fit Cortizo glass sliding doors at the back of the house - noise was less of an issue but aesthetics more important and the doors look brilliant. When we first moved into this house 20 years ago we used well advertised companies to replace the front windows (with sound reducing laminate glass) and the front door - I was disappointed with the result. In contrast my quality of life has been greatly improved with the Soundproof Windows products - hence taking the trouble to write a review

The Soundproof Windows did a great job replacing 2x triple bay sash windows and another single sash window at the front of my house in Parsons Green with 51db triple glazed mock sash windows. The windows themselves are of a very high quality, looking like original sash windows but with much higher sound and heat insulation performance. The installation team were particularly great - very considerate and careful to protect the rest of the house, cleaning regularly and you could tell they took great pride in their work.
