Ordered a Dorema full awning and paid for in full, received a n update saying it wouldn't arrive until October, due to manufacturer, asked for a refund NO REPLY avoid at all cost lucky I used my credit card so they will be picking up the issue.

I ordered a Isabella Eclipse Sun Canopy from Awnings Direct but the canopy I received was not what I thought I was ordering as the information and photos that Isabella had supplied to Awnings Direct for use on their website was incorrect (it was also wrong on the Isabella website!).

With only a couple of days to sort it out before our trip to Switzerland, Gill was very helpful and managed to get the canopy swapped over for the one I should have received, the very next day.

The problem was not caused by Awnings Direct but it was solved by them quickly which is what matters, therefore I am happy to recommend them.

If you are going to buy a starcamp sun canopy 265 from these people and you are expecting a front panel which it states in the description, well don't as we bought one a couple of weeks ago and there is no front panel and nowhere to fit one. So be ware

Awnings Direct supplied me with a sun canopy and side panel set. Very competitive price, efficient service and prompt delivery. There was a small problem with the side panel sets almost a year after purchase and their after sales service was absolutely amazing. They couldn’t have been more helpful in terms of replacing the item, liaising with the manufacturer and keeping me updated. Based on my experience I would 100% recommend Awnings Direct.

The service from this company is Very very poor ordered an awning website said 2days delivery 2 days later no notification of delivery rang the company to be told awning was out of stock as they had charged me delivery I felt this was dreadful service they did not even have the courtesy to e mail me. I ordered from this company because it was fairly local try to support local businesses. Needed the awning quickly as current awning was destroyed in storm last week. Have ordered same awning from another Company cheaper no delivery charge and a timed delivery tomorrow.will never use this company again would certainly never buy a caravan from them when they can't even cope with awning orders

Replying to your post the person I spoke to admitted that I had NOT been sent an e mail i have not received an email the person on the phone told me the awnings you had in stock the only one you had that was the required size was £100more than the one ordered I did ask if I could have a discount because I had not been notified awning being out of stock I was not upset because I could not get a discount I was upset because of your inefficiency your company is the only one I have dealt with on the internet where if an item is out of stock it does not let you know when you order I stand by my comments I would be of post a review if I felt otherwise

We bought a Sunncamp Versara Ultima 260 poled porch awning from here. To be fair, it was dispatched and received within a couple of days, as expected, so no complaints there. 5 days after erecting the awning, one of the poles "separated" and ripped through the pole sleeve, rendering it virtually useless. I contacted Awnings Direct, who passed it on to Sunncamp. They immediately came back saying it was my fault, I had not erected the awning correctly and without any discussion at all (it may have been a fault in the pole), said there was nothing they would do other than to suggest the name of a repairer. I re-contacted Awnings Direct and although they said they had sympathy, they would not help at all. I just find it astonishing that after 5 days, without strong winds this could happen, but even more astonishing, no discussion, just blame me, who followed their instructions, and not even a discussion, to meet me half way and assist in faxing this problem. We are now left with £297's worth of useless awning and 2 companies who, whilst happy to take my money, do not want to help at all. Shocking customer service to me. I would also suggest the awning was not fit for purpose, having followed the instructions correctly. Draw your own conclusions but based on my experience of 2 companies who don't care or help, combined with a product not fit for the job, i won't deal with either company again.
