All the windows in our Lake District cottage are provided by MB Woodcraft, and they are excellent.
Recently, we found one of the windows had been damaged by a holiday tenant. The window could not be closed and was falling off its hinges.
We texted Mariusz on a Friday evening advising him of the problem. He called back early on Saturday and agreed to come and repair the window on the following Monday. True to his word, by 10:30am on the Monday the window had been repaired and our new holiday tenants were happy that their possessions were safe.
Mariusz showed characteristic, i.e. fantastic, customer service, and all done while he had a broken leg. Ava, Maruisz' wife, came to help as well and she was delightful. A great family team.
PS: And his charge for doing so was very reasonable.
Mariusz built a wardrobe for us a few years ago and did a superb job. We therefore went back to him when we wanted another one a few months ago. He listened carefully to what we wanted and was very patient when we asked for some changes. He fitted it in one day and the craftsmanship is outstanding. He is pleasant and polite and nothing is too much trouble. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We asked M B Woodcraft to exchange a wardrobe in our hallway and design as well as build a little cabinet. Excellent workmanship and we were very impressed with the attention to detail from the first consultation throughout the project to the final delivery of the work. Looks fantastic and several people asked us already about the fantastic craftsmanship. Highly recommended.

As a professional Engineer looking for a traditional cabinet maker still working with fine wood I was struggling till I found MB Woodcraft. After visiting their workshop and seeing the quality of the tools, materials and workshop itself I was left in no doubt that I had found the right place.

This is the second job Mariusz has done for me. The doors he made for my workshop were perfect, so when I needed a bespoke Oak bookcase to fit under my stairs, he was the man. I gave him the dimensions, but he insisted on coming round to double check everything I had asked for and the result was a perfect fit and a magnificent piece of furniture. A delightful guy and highly recommended!

Searching for someone to create a set of French doors between connecting rooms, MB Woodcraft looked promising, and in the event our expectations were fully met. A helpful and professional approach to assessing and refining the design was followed by a high quality product with great attention to detail, precision installation and timescales achieved. We opted for an external standard resulting in a solid construction and elegant proportions. Mariusz and team come highly recommended.
