Spent a very relaxing 2 hours accompanied by my 16 year old great-nephew. We both loved it. Elaine was really helpful especially with adding a quote/lettering onto the rim of my plate. We look forward to another creative session here.

Amazing studio offering pottery painting on lots of different levels. My daughter booked a birthday treat, painting roosters with a special technique which turned out fantastic! Can't wait to paint the Roosters partner. To top it off, the muffins were superb too!

This little gem is a true jewel in Selby's crown. The staff are all welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. There is always a great selection of ceramics to pick off the shelves and paint or for the more creative and daring there are fantastic workshops that run throughout the year! Highly recommend Painting Pot for relaxation and fun cannot wait to return!

Our first time and we had a fad couple of hours. We went with Selby Dustrict Vision. There were about 8 of us and we all had a really good time and a ? We had teas and coffees and a yummy Brownie. This was specially made from Busy Vs sweets & treats. Worth going just for the Brownie and coffee. You choose what size of pot you want to paint and pay. Smaller size start at 6/8 pounds. You are told what you need to do and it's 3 coats of paint for each colour you need to apply. Choose your brush and off you go. Really good fun and it's for all ages. Ideal place to take your children/Grandchildren to for something totally different to do. Once your done, after loads of laughing etc. It's off for fireing and then you get it back after about 10 days. Well worth a visit.

We had an amazing time here, the owner is so lovely, warm, and welcoming. I came here with my mum and we each painted something, I was fairly slow and couldn't finish my pot in the first session but I was welcomed to return whenever I wanted to finish off painting. The selection of pots is really good and there is something for everyone's budget (and there are no hidden studio fees!), there is also a range of hot drinks, cold drinks and snacks available. Overall a wonderful, relaxing experience for people of any age or any skill level.

We had a great time painting our models (Grandma/dad daughter and grandson). We choose the Glaze painting Kits @£14 each which included the model, 5 glaze mixable colours, paint brush and a mixer palatte. Very easy to order on the website and the owner delivered by hand (we are local to the shop) . My current photos show the un-fired painted models. Have texed the owner to arrange fireing which is included in the price. A good seslection of painting and pottery actives on the site and will be available as workshops once covid restrictions allow.
