I have huge respect for this lot and would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family for any outdoor gear. I bought a premium and relatively expensive item that I had an issue with, the manufacturer warranty was up and so Outdoor World Direct could easily have left it at that, they didn't. They fully resolved my situation and went above and beyond, such a huge reassurance to anybody looking at spending a few quid on an important item.

Fantastic after sales service! No quibble when a couple of parts for our Drive-away Awning needed replacing, which was very refreshing to hear. They arrived today via courier so we are very pleased and impressed with Outdoor World Direct ??

We were after a better made tent than the average local store to us.
Really excellent place for good camping equipment brands with helpful, and friendly staff. They put up a tent in advance of us coming.

Not their fault... it's a shame they're miles away from us, or maybe beneficial to my wallet! Anyhoo glad they have a store, so very convenient when you want to look at the goods before you buy.

Absolutely outstanding customer service. Purchased a Vango Rome 650XL tent last year. They price matched another supplier who were cheaper and we got a really good deal on a bundle including groundsheet, carpet and compressor.
We are currently in Cornwall and a pole which supports the side pod has split. It doesn’t affect performance but has created an irregular shape to the pod. I contacted OWD and was prepared to pay for a new one if they could supply it. I was happy to wait until we got back home. We are out of the 12 month warranty and damaged poles are classed as wear & tear but Andrew Stannard from OWD has agreed to send another for free as a gesture of good will. Not only that but he’s shipped it to the campsite we are currently staying at. Very impressive service.

Phenomenal customer service. Had a couple of issues - none of them the fault of Outdoor World - one manufacturing issue with the tent I bought and one issue that was totally my own fault for not paying attention when sending things back. Andrew from the customer service team was fantastic at sorting all for me quickly and without fuss - even when it was my own fault. Can't recommend them enough!

The Customer Service from this company is excellent! Had a couple of problems with the product which were resolved to my complete satisfaction extremely quickly, with good grace and support.
I can highly recommend this company!

We telephoned ahead and they very kindly put up the tent that we was hoping to buy which was unexpected. We arrived. The tent was up ready for us to view but we found another tent next to it which we liked better and have purchased. All the staff were very helpful. No pushy sales if they didn't know the answer they found out for us so five-star rating. Well done to everybody involved and thank you
