Our internal stairs have been squeaky since moving in 3 years ago, after getting round to decorating we lifted carpet and found a very poorly constructed staircase. Contacted Andrew who came out to survey and offer advice to fix. Andrew was very knowledgable and passionate, we agreed a date, which was met and I can’t believe the difference in the staircase….only creaking we can hear is from our own bones. Highly recommend, superb workmanship, cleanliness, respect and passion for doing a great job.

We had a new Oak and Glass Banister installed by A&J Stairs back in Dec. 2022. From initial contact with Andrew the service was friendly, professional and his attention to detail was impeccable!. The communication all the way through was first class and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. it's not very often I would recommend a company these days, I would have no hesitation in recommending A&J Stairs. I dealt with Andrew from A & J Stairs and couldn’t be happier with the work he did for me. Beautiful wooden staircase with glass. Exactly as I wanted. Andrew was very polite and informative. We called A&J stairs for a quote for a replacement stair case. The service from the very beginning was great. They were quick with coming out to view the stairs and putting together the quote. Although they were busy they were able to book us in and were out to complete the work in no time at all. Andrew and Jamie were very professional and friendly and always checked in to ensure we were happy with everything. The work was completed to a very high standard in a short period of time, the whole experience with A&J stairs was hassle free and I Cannot recommend them enough!!

Recommend without reservation. From start to finish Jamie and Andrew were polite, professional and respectful. Their workmanship is superb. They took out my dangerous spiral staircase and they built me a bespoke wooden staircase at a very reasonable price. They took the time to refine small details and made sure I was happy at every turn. They even worked around other tradesmen. They left my house immaculate, tidying up and hoovering when the job was finished. I am delighted with the result and recommend them to anyone thinking of a new stair. Thank you lads!
