Matthew Tenant the owner of Intel Electric has scammed my 54 year old father out of $1800 and just avoids any contact. I quit his company after wages not payed. Nobody will work for him, all Electricians I know quit his company in a hurry also unpaid. Good riddens.

Nice guys but…to just view a job and provide a quote there will be a $350 charge. Supposedly a verbal communication of this minimum fee is provided, however I don’t remember the service technician providing me with his information when he came to my home. In addition, when I check the Website the minimum prices listed are far below $350 and presumably include some work towards an end product. I would recommend that Intel post their minimum fee on their website so that other consumers are not caught off guard. I basically paid $350 to have them just come to my house and give me a quote of $1200 for a bathroom fan installation. I went with another service provider who was able to complete the job for 2/3 that cost.

I was able to schedule quickly with Intel.
Scott did a quality job for me ~ very friendly and efficient.
A bit more spendy than my usual handyman ~ but well worth it! It’s nice to have the confidence that my electrical repairs are completely safe and up to code.

I called Matt a few days ago and then the next day he sent someone .
I had a good experience with Intel electric communicated with Matt about what I needed to be done to install my 2 lights and vent hood. Matt referred me to a company to get my vent hood
Installed. Scott installed my 2 lights
Fixtures and an outlet in my kitchen. He was professional, punctual and got the job.

I’ve used them before and they were great but this time around I was very disappointed. They were scheduled to be at my house 7:45 AM and didn’t show up until 4 PM and then they had to come back the next day because they had the wrong lights. The real problem came when they left a hole in my kitchen ceiling from where the old light fixture was. They did not inform me before installing the recessed lighting that I would have a hole in my ceiling. When I asked if they would be back to patch the hole I was told “we’re electricians” and that they don’t do sheetrock and then they still had to come back a third time by my request as I noticed they forgot to install the light switch dimmer. Overall, disappointed in the professionalism and lack of communication.

Matt, unfortunately, had to miss our original appointment to install some designer lights due to truck problems. But, he more than made up for it by coming out that following Saturday. The light installation looks fantastic!
