5 Star Review by Kris Tibbitts

Overall

People have good experiences and people have bad experiences with businesses. I have had good experiences with AER the times I have dealt with them. First off, they are waaaaaaaay lower cost than the other places. Like big time. Other than that, they had what I needed when I needed it.

We paid over $80,000 for a rental and they want another $79,900 for a buyout of equipment that wasn't properly maintained and isn't worth $100,000.00. They will rip you off if your not careful. Do NOT rent from them unless you have to..

AER had some of the best prices in town. It was easy to set up delivery and pick up of a z-boom, and they have great customer service. Dean was very courteous and pleasant and I would be happy to rent from them again.

It is a little hard to find the office, turn up the side street beside the fence and enter the equipment yard through the gate. The shop is on the left and the parts department is on the right. Very nice people to work with! They have all the John Deere support you need.

This place does not deserve one star, but no stars is not an option. They left me, my help ( i flew up from the states), and my project hanging with 3 hours left befor the start of a holiday weekend on the delivery of equipment we had booked well in advance. They fabricated a "safety" concern to why they couldn't deliver to the flat, straight, open road they could have dropped off at. From the Anchorage branch, to Jerry Saddler (family who owns the business) all i got was "sorry for the inconvenience". We couldn't get a lift for 4 more days. This put us a month behind schedule and several thousands of dollars over expected costs . If they can do this to me with the indifference they have shown, they can and could do it to you. Shame on you AER. Piss poor business ethics.
