Great service. I was matched on home-advisor for a furnace tune up. When Arctic Plumbing and Heating contacted me about the job they were happy to schedule a Saturday visit to accommodate my work schedule and quoted half what was quoted to me by others for a weekend call. When my appointment came they were prompt, efficient, and friendly. Will definitely be adding their number to my contact list for future business.
Woke up at 3am to no heat on a Sunday, made an emergency call to get the boiler looked at and Gene with Arctic Plumbing came out and did troubleshooting until he found the issue, the fuel pump on the boiler went out. He took the time to show me step by step everything we was replacing. Turns out the person from another company I was going through to service my boiler every summer wasn't doing much of anything at all to actually service my boiler. The fuel filter was old and dirty, the electrodes were out of alignment, and a few other small things that needed attention. I highly reccomend these guys for their attention to detail and taking the time to show me every part they removed and how they went bad/were going bad.

Our zone control panel went bad, losing power to our boiler and no heat to the house during the cold spell. We called the emergency line and had help within the hour. Gene came back the next day and talked us through everything that he fixed, and explained how to find things in the future. Above 5 star service, would absolutely recommend and will be calling Arctic Plumbing for anything we need in the future!

They came out a few weeks ago and defrosted our well for us. They informed us that our heat trace was bad and needed to be replaced in the summer. They gave us a solution to run water continuously throughout the day….I had mindlessly turned the faucet off last night and the well froze again. They were kind enough to give us information of the things we needed to defrost the well ourselves. Their customer service is great. We would call them for all our plumbing needs in the future. Highly recommend. They answered every call I gave them today with questions and with no issue gave me the answers. Thankyou guys!

I was very disappointed with the customer service I received. I had an appointment scheduled between 8:30 and 12:30, but no one showed up or called me to let me know about any delay. As I had to call them, they said there was a setback and the technician would be there within an hour. I waited another hour, but still no one came. I called them again and they said they had to reschedule. This was very frustrating and inconvenient for me, as I had to take time off work and wait for them. I asked them if they would offer me a discount for the inconvenience, but they only offered me $17, which in my opinion not enough to cover my lost income and the extra time I would have to take off for the rescheduled appointment. They also could not give me a precise time for the next appointment, only a vague estimate. I felt like they did not respect my time or money as much as they expected me to respect theirs. Overall, I wish I had a better experience. They may just had an off day. I wish them the best and maybe I will reconsider their discount to get maintenance on my boiler in the future.

As always, great service and support. I've used Arctic Plumbing several times over many years. Product support is always a top priority in Alaska. Over the years Jim has not failed.

Our heater quit working, we called the emergency line. They showed up within the hour, diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes and solved the problem for much less than I thought it would be. We are so appreciative, the service was so friendly and our house is warm again.

I actually give the service done by Mr. Jim Johnson a 5 star review. He was very professional and courteous. The reason for the 3 star review is due to a conversation I had with the lady who works answering the companies phone. First off, I called Jim on a Sunday due to a water leak in my ceiling. He was nice enough to help me out and told me over the phone that it could wait till Monday to avoid the emergency service charge. Monday morning Jim came to the house and repaired the leak, he even had to go back into town to pick up a part that he did not have. When it came time for the bill, he added what was needed and told me the charge was $225.50. I paid VIA square, and noticed when the receipt came through that I was charged $275.50. Jim apologized and wrote on the bill that I was owed $50.00. Fast forward to today, I called to inquire on how the money was going to be refunded, NOT to complain that the money has not shown up. Those words never came out of my mouth. I was told that $48.00 was going to be refunded. When I asked why it was not $50.00, I was told that it looked like Jim wrote the wrong numbers down. Even though it states, handwritten from Jim, that I was owed $50.00. I was then told that Jim also did not include a 3.5% charge for me using a card. Well, in the photos provided, nowhere on the original receipt does it state that 3.5% will be charged for card use. After a little discussion, the lady on the phone grudgingly agreed to pay the $50.00, was short in talking to me and hung up. Again, mistakes were made by both parties, but the way a customer oriented company handled it was wrong in my opinion.
