This company should no longer be allowed to bid on any contracts. Never on time, they destroy roads, the pavement they put in doesn’t last and whoever engineers the temporary routes must not have a drivers license. Unsafe company that put peoples lives at risk.
The temporary routes are a joke. They have roads that are 100% finished but are still closed, I go up asking them why they're closed and they refused to talk to me. I wasn't disrespectful, I was just wondering what their thought-process was for having some of these areas closed off.. obviously it's a "because we said so", type of situation. No professionalism here.

By far the worst road construction crew I have ever experienced on the Glen Highway. Complete lack of regard for the public, holding up traffic for miles and hours. Poorly maintained thruways and abrupt transitions amplify the calamity. Passing through on most evenings I don’t see but a few workers, if anybody out on site. There needs to be some better regulation by the state. Tax payers getting sapped by this inefficient, inconsiderate, group of individuals.

Have you seen the Glenn HWY? Pot holes 6-8” deep and approaches you could catch air on. Not too mention they have baseball sized boulders in the middle of the gravel road that are not compacted to the point the ruts were so deep the under side of my car scraped, there may be damage. The water mitigation is atrocious as well. I don’t know who the project manager is but maybe he should visit his job site a little more often or find a new job. It’s August… can we make some progress here? I mean, I remember my first big project but damn… time to quit milking the tax payers money and wrap that thing up!

My truck broke down by a flagman on the Steese Highway after a trip up to the Arctic Circle. He called a coworker over to help me get back on the road and even a friend of his who lived up the road. Even though it was a motorcyclist that ended up finding my loose connection, everyone on the crew was very patient and I was impressed by the courtesy of their employees. I don’t know the name of the man (he had a long beard and some reflective sunglasses), but I was thankful that if my truck was going to break down anywhere it was by him :) Thank you, sir.
