Have had two boat tops made by them. Outstanding craftsmanship throughout. Had a small problem with one of the zippers several years later and it was fixed without charge. Will go back time again.
Willie took a look at my "unique " upholstery problem and said "I can fix that"!
He's very busy and booked out a while, which should tell you something.

I dropped off my boat canopy to have a small 18“ x 18“ window replaced. When I showed up they were friendly and had a dog in their shop. I have heard and seen good work about busters so I thought I would give them a try. 2 1/2 months later my top was still not ready. I called and he told me to wait a couple of weeks. I waited about three and called and it was still not ready. He told me that this type of work is filler work and I need to be patient. Then he told me that he was the only one in town who did this acting like I had no other choice. I explain that if he’s going to keep somebody‘s stuff for two or three months he should tell them ahead of time so they can have the choice whether to leave it or not. Two days later he called and my top is ready. I sent my daughter to pick it up. When she brought it back home it was covered with dirt, debris, and plenty of dog hair. It is as if it was used fir the dogs bedding. Very very disappointed. I have multiple pictures of it but this site will not let me upload them.

I had a boat top made 10 months ago from Busters. There were a few issues with my design criteria not being met. As an example there were common sense fasteners installed where I wanted snaps. This was done to ensure the top would remain secure, however they were always in the way during use. I used the boat nearly 80 days this summer in thunderstorms, wind, and rain and overall the top performed with minimal problems. Willie guarantees his work and I brought the boat and top back at the end of the season to get the issues corrected. He promptly changed out the fasteners, installed many new snaps that were beginning to corrode, and replaced a zipper that was not working properly. He also modified my windows for better visibility. All of this was done at zero cost to me. He stands by his work and I want to thank him for making this right for me. Thanks again!

I have had the interior of two different hot rods done. Willie does impeccable work and both cars came out with a gorgeous interior. The 23 T-Bucket took the trophy for best interior at the 2015 Hot Summer Nights car show in Palmer. Buster's Upholstery is my "#1 go to shop" for my custom car interior needs for sure.

The boat we bought has an extremely well-made canopy from Buster's. I've gone back in twice for minor repairs to our 8 year old boat canopy...simple wear and tear fixes...and both times they took care of it on the same day with no charge. When it's time to replace, they will definitely be getting my business again!

My name is Ralph and I have been doing business with Buster's for going on 25 years. They are simply the best in Alaska at what they do. We own 2 boats and they have covered both of them. They are easy to work with and use only the best materials. Our first boat top, the actual top itself not the side windows, has lasted 20 years. Their has been some repair work in that time but the top and bows were still doing their job just fine. Take it from me, you will not find a better upholstery shop in the state. Tell Willey that Ralph said hello.
