I appreciated the prompt service. The technition was not familiar at all with the IBC combi boiler and it took him awhile to figure out what the problem might be. Very open ended there. The local distributorship in Anchorage or Wasilla for IBC boilers and parts is a phone call away with pacific Plumbing. It took you two days to locate the part from the one and only IBC dealership and parts house. I did it with one phone call. You will not put a price on a part and labor on your invoice. This easily could go to the better business bureau and the state attorny generals office for non disclosure and fruadulant charges. The cost for the simple repair was super exorbitant and I am not a fan of your company and I work with most of the realtors in the Anchorage and Valley area. You will not be getting a good review from me. Plus our twenty plus team members on our real estate team.

The mechanic was great. He replaced the batteries and waited for the heater to come back on. I was disappointed that being a member of this entity didn't provide for any breaks on this service. It was a Sunday and he was called out. At the same time, we were five minutes away from his place and it took less than five minutes to fix. The bill was over 300.00. That does seem excessive. We have been with this company since we've owned this house for over ten years and joined the 'club' for reasons we thought would be more helpful. He did tell us that the credit card fee would be waived, though. So, I guess that's why we're in the club?? Anyway, the gentleman was very polite and kind and efficient.

We were truly impressed with the service provided by HeatSource Mechanical Inc. When we decided to change our boiler and furnace from heating oil to natural gas, we knew we needed a reliable contractor. HeatSource Inc., a participating contractor listed with Interior Gas Utility (IGU) in Fairbanks, was our top choice. After IGU approved a natural gas connection, we reached out to multiple plumbing contractors for a quote. HeatSource Inc. stood out with their prompt response, despite being a Wasilla-based company with a branch in Fairbanks. The prices they quoted were the most reasonable of all the quotes we received. Dennis Mayers, their engineer, answered all the queries to our satisfaction. HeatSource Inc. was able to clinch the deal with us because they were willing to work directly with the FNSB change-over program and get reimbursed directly from them, with us paying our share of the cost as per the quote. Once IGU installed a line on our property, HeatSource Inc. completed the boiler changeover and other plumbing work in 3 days. Their technician, Trey Willams, answered all our queries regarding how the job would be done to our satisfaction. The most impressive part was that they swept our entire garage, where the new boiler was installed once their work was completed. Before leaving, they explained the workings of the boiler and showed me all the valves and pipes, their functions and their locations. Based on our experience with them, we highly recommend HeatSource Inc. for boiler changeover and related services.

The process of replacing the boiler system was excellent from beginning to end beginning with the sales representative Anthony to the installation by Hayden. There were two technicians that performed the install Hayden being the lead. He addressed any concerns and modifications/changes that occurred immediately giving confidence in the project. He performed a thorough test of the system and instructions on the operation of the new boiler before departure. Hayden let me know about the warranty and if any questions came up after they left I could contact the office or salesman Anthony.
