Found Apex online after reading their reviews and had them powder coat my range rover’s 22” rims. Dropped them off on a Tuesday and got them back on Thursday of the same week. They did a mat black finish on them and did a phenomenal job. The price was very fair and economical, one new OEM rim is just under $1500 at Land Rover. Once I picked them up, went straight to the tire shop to remount them. At first they didn’t want to remount them because they have had other powder coating jobs come in and they scraped the powder coat right off due to poor workmanship. After convincing them that Apex was not that company from reading their reviews and now seeing their work, they agreed to proceed. 3 out of the four rims were remounted with no damage to the powder coating. The fourth one was not set correctly on the rim mount and it went flying on the ground face up. It flew straight across the floor and damaged the rim. Amazingly, it only had two spots with gouges that weren’t really that deep and the rest were scuffs that would have easily buffed out. I think an inferior company’s work would have had more damages, according to the tire shop. Nonetheless, I took it back to get redone at the tire shop’s expense. I will definitely use Apex for all my future powder coating needs. Especially if they could do a 1976 Jeep CJ5 frame.
I had Apex do two 1940 meatl rocking chairs and they came out perfect. APEX has done outstanding work for me. Attached are before and after of the quality of work they have done

This was the worst Powder Coating experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been using Powder Coating on my vehicles for a long time. I had a mix of metal and aluminum pieces from a steering column. They used sand for all of the blasting to include the aluminum pieces. I had specifically asked for taping off on some of the areas none of that was done. They blasted the internals of the steering column part that I had asked to be Powder Coating. Bad enough? Nope I probably wouldn’t have even written a review if that was all there was to it. I should’ve inspected the parts better before I left. My fault. When I got the pieces home and put my glasses on I realized that all of the powder coat had sand imbedded in it. Really horrible finish. When I picked up one of the pieces sand actually fell out of the part. This is after it had been Powder Coating and delivered to me. Complete mess of all pieces. I paid $145 and now I’m looking for a complete new column to start over! Do yourselves a favor stay away. Worse than amateur results from what should’ve been a very simple job.

We've had a great experience doing business with this company. We build custom equipment that is shipped across the country. Our buyers are very familiar with powder coating, so we need a provider who can give us top notch results. We've received excellent reviews on the quality of the powder coating work done on our equipment. We've also been pleased by the pricing and fair business practices we have seen from Apex. I can recommend this company to anyone in the area looking to get quality work done promptly and at a fair price.
