I know someone who works for them. They say 1,300 a week or more. That's not possible at 1.00 a ton. Waiting time at the paper mill is crazy. The company spent more time lying to the driver refusing to tell them what the actual pay is. Just about every truck is beat to hell. I definitely would never work for them

I have been with this company almost a year now. I have absolutely enjoyed it. I have enjoyed working with my co-workers and the fellow drivers. I have to say this is one of the best companies I have ever worked for . Of course, there is ups and downs , that is part of life. But, all and all best all over company. Personal experience varies. Everyday is a challenge but, doing what has to be done. We are a service company, I feel I am empowered to put the customer first and communicate. I've been in the trucking industry for over 35 years. I've worked the majority of those years here at Billy Barnes Enterprises. I've hauled chips,precast and now hauling polls regional. I think it's one of the better trucking companies to work for in this industry, The pay is great, the benefit are good. The people are nice and what some people don't realize is that someone has to be the boss and make the tough decisions. A lot of drivers do not realize that the trucking industry is not a 9 to 5 job. It's a 70 hour a week job. I love driving a truck and love working here. Any time I've had a problem with anything I've always found open door to talk to anyone about any problems I've had. Billie Barnes Enterprises has been great to my family in myself. If you're looking for a great place to work, give Billy Barnes Enterprises a try. Johnny Snodgrass
