Kelsey was AMAZING! I am a first time home buyer/owner and this was a new experience for me. He was professional and explained everything, had TONS of photos to show EVERYTHING (the good and the bad). He provided recommendations and what I should look for when hiring specific professionals to fix the issues. He answered my long list of questions that I had and was patient and ensured I understood. He was very thorough and inspected every inch of the home. He was super nice and communicated every step of the process from the beginning.
I’ve heard that inspection reports normally take a few days to receive but I received my report within hours after he completed the inspection!
I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend him (and I have already recommended him to a few people) and when I purchase new homes I will be using his services again!
My husband and I were very excited originally to work with Kelsey because he came very highly rated by our realtor, who we love. He scheduled an appointment before we got the date for our blue tape walk through with our builder. He told us just to call once we got the date and he would reschedule. We called him the moment we got the date and he didn't answer so we left a message. We called again the next day and sent an email. Still no response. This put us into the weekend and we needed the inspection done on Tuesday. Monday morning our builder let us know that if we didn't do the inspection on Tuesday it would delay our closing. We called kelsey again and he still didn't answer. After waiting several months for our house, we didn't want to delay closing any longer so we scheduled another inspector. It was only then that we heard from Kelsey. He said that he had scheduled the appointment with our realtor (he didn't, he told her that he would get with us to schedule) and that it wasn't even him coming but someone else and he had emailed an invoice. I work in a call center so I wasn't able to answer when he called. I called him back and he didn't answer. I explained that we had to go with someone else and asked that he call me to confirm that he got my message and wouldn't be billing me. He never called. I'm so disappointed as we were told all these amazing things about him and none of it ended up being true.

Kelsey was prompt to answer when we called to set up our inspection. He was able to get us scheduled in a very reasonable time frame. Kelsey was extremely thorough in his inspection. The report was very detailed and organized making it easy to read. It’s also nice to know we are working with a veteran owned company. He paid attention to every detail. Thank you!

Absolutely awesome experience with a true professional. Mr. Kelsey Smith provided my wife and I with a detailed walk-through of everything and anything to do with our newly built house. He was very insightful and well versed in everything. He spent the extra time understanding and answering our questions no matter what it had to do with. I would choose yo use Kelsey again and would recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Kelsey Smith inspected my house in North Alabama recently. He impressed me with his professionalism and integrity. He knows his task well and is very thorough with all the details. From roof to crawl space and every thing in between, he documented all items needing attention for safety or resale value.I learned a lot about my house from reading his report. Mr. Smith is punctual and easy to work with. I am completely satisfied and happy with his work and I gladly recommend his service to anyone demanding trustworthy home inspection.

Kelsey Smith came out to perform an inspection on our fireplace for a VA refinance. He had great communication before arrival and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was kind enough to explain the ins and outs of why we were having to have the inspection done. He also helped me test my carbon monoxide device and recommended I get a second one for downstairs. I would definitely have Kelsey back out if I ever need a full house inspection.

AHI is a great company to hire for a home inspection. Kelsey helped me understand the entire home inspection and was able to accommodate us at a short notice. He was friendly and took his time on the inspection. We didn't feel rushed at all, and we would recommend Kelsey to anyone who is looking for an inspector for their home!

We needed an inspection done right before Christmas and on short very notice. Our Real Estate company recommend Alabama Home InspeXions. We were buying a new build house and not everything was completed before the inspection. They still did a great job with the inspection and did find some major things for the builder to fix. We will have them come out again before our warranty is up to re-inspect in case anything was missed between the initial inspection and completion of the home. Communication was great and the report was sent very quickly so we could give to the builder the next day.

Kelsey came out and did an inspection on a fairly large home for me. The report was just as thorough as on a smaller home they’ve done for me. He stayed on site doing the inspection for an entire day. When he finished, he quickly communicated the major findings before writing the report so we could tell the sellers what needed to be addressed. Professional, detailed, and very pleasant to do business with. Highly recommend.
