I had an excellent experience working with Goodwyn Building to build a home in Montgomery. I don't have a lot of free time and wanted a home I could escape to after long days at work. I was able to find that home in a quiet neighborhood thanks to Goodwyn. They had a great variety of home layouts and various neighborhoods throughout the area, which made it easy to find the right combination. The home was built well with great quality materials.
The only major complaint I have is the finish of the paint used (specifically the finish). While the color is wonderful, it is flat paint that marks up really easily. That means that you can easily touch up small areas without having to do the entire wall, but you will need to be prepared to redo the rooms within a year, especially if you have children. But, if you are building a home, just about all builders use flat paint instead of semi-gloss or satin paint.
Nevertheless, the entire experience was wonderful, and they were very accommodating from start to finish. I had to do the entire process long distance and never got to meet with them until I arrived for closing, but they walked me through the entire process as if I were right there with them. All documents and samples were sent to me electronically and through the mail with little to no delay. I wish I could use Goodwyn Building to build my next home when I am forced to move again to another region of the US. You will not be disappointed by the overall quality of the home and the level of service provided.
Prompt response and repair completed in a timely manner. Worker was respectful, considerate and cleaned up after himself.

We were very pleased with our Goodwyn building experience. Phillip is very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the build process. He answered every text and question we had. Fast forward 5 years later and we are still in our Goodwyn home and still very satisfied with it. We had a question this past weekend about upgrading our garbage disposal. I texted Phillip on a Saturday and he answered my text right away. I highly recommend Goodwyn Building Company.

I purchased my home April 2019, as a first time homebuyer. I love my house. I could not be happier with my purchase. The quality of the house exceeded my expectations. The foam installation saved me hundreds of dollars on electricity bill.
Philip Goodwyn was my realtor and go to person throughout the entire process. He was knowledgeable and informal, even after closing he addressed all of my concerns. He’s very professional and great to work with.
